5 people killed in and around boca chica?

has anyone heard any details?

i am chatting right now with a friend from the area and apparently in her barrio, Andres, it is currently very dangerous.

she says that 5 have been killed this week but does not know why. 4 dominicans and 1 italian.

but seems shit is getting krunk around DR!! i think us tourist should just warn each other of places NOT to go...and stick to worrying about the chocha...and stay as far away from that countries politics and B.S. as possible.

interesting but definately not the same. these are mostly locals actually getting killed in the barrios near boca chica and has been going on for days. it's very likely linked to drugs but i'm not sure.
