    Hotel Matum

Stayed 2 nights. Appeared to be chica friendly. I brought a chica from Sosua and it seems like it was no problem. $2200 p / night for single $2500 p / night per double. Onsite casino and small disco. DR historical site where the army took back the hotel from government dissidents in 1965. Near the monument.

The rooms were nice. Double bed, nice shower, good a/c. Lighting may not
be the best. Older hotel with few lights in the room. Try to get a room at the
end of the hallway. Rooms closer to the stairs are noiser. I believe their are 40 rooms total.

They must of rehabed the place since then. Rooms were ok with modern bathrooms. The labels were still on the toilets.
