Expensive Casas?

I am a newbie and shortly visiting SD. First I wanted to go to Boca Chica...But the girls seem to a lot darker to my taste..So I decided to stay in SD and get better girls.. But as I read here everyone says Casas are very expensive. So I dont get a girl for 1 hour for 1500? and TLN for 2500?in SD?
Also if casas are going to be expensive how I am going to get girls? Are there other ways?
Any help is appreciated as I have short time to make trip and I need to make reservations at hotels..

We were just there. You can get chicas for 1,500-2,000 for 2 hours from the casas.

Casa de Modelos is a rip-off, even the drinks have rip-off prices, more expensive than anywhere else - I would avoid this place like the plague

Lapsus is my favorite spot. Any word on Paradas? They were open when I was there in Oct 05 but closed in June 06.

Las Paradas is now a couples place with Danza dancing.. Not our cup of tea.. Lapsus and sometimes Taboo will produce some nice looking girls.
Last time I was in lapsus a couple of weeks ago, there were about 10 fairly tall, model like figured girls. Definitely doable...
And Gladiator is right, stay the hell away from Casa de Modelos, I don't care if somebody says they got a winner there. If he did, he's one of the guys that pays too much and ruins it for everyone else, everywhere else...

The former owner (a fat lady) of Casa de Modelos passed away last December. Since she passed away, the place has been poorly managed.
Same girls (a few new girls) but management has been crap.

Casa Teressa quoted me 6,000 for TLN as well.
Casa Teressa and Casa de Modelos charge the most for TLN.
Lapsus and The Girl's House charge only 2,500 for TLN.
Junior's Bar charge 3,000 to 3,500 for TLN (the owner speaks pretty good English).
The Mansion charges 4,500 for TLN.
And guys, remember to go to a casa without a cab driver.

2,500 for TLN. There is a waiter name "Willie". He speaks pretty good English. He will hook you up with a girl of your choice.
Lapsus have strip tease shows late at night.
