Travel is only for Tuesday and Wednesday. 4/22 is a Monday so I would expect that price. I put in for a Tuesday -Tuesday flight and the prices was $600+.

Re: 11/2006 - JET BLUE TO PUERTO PLATA - Current Sales

They had an offer 2 weeks ago for $199 one way and when I went to book I got the same prices I got the day before with no promo. The promo didn't register the price for POP but it did for STI so I called them directly to find out why and got some bullshit about it may have been sold out. I told the lady I literally got the email and ran to the computer but to no avail. I hung up and tried to book again about an hour later and voila!! The $199 price was there for the departing flight. Ended up getting 4/16 - 4/22 for $572.50. The day before the promo it was listed at $727 which is the same price it is now.

For your dates below 2 weeks ago it was around high 400 or low 500's if I recall correctly with that promo. I remember cause I considered staying an extra day just to get the cheaper flight cause it was a lot cheaper than returning on the 22nd. Two weeks later its 600+... no bueno

I suggest trying again tomorrow morning and see if you have better luck. Clear your cache and cookies as well when you try again tomorrow. I think you have until 11:59pm EST tomorrow.

Sadly, I checked it just out of curiosity. A promotion at work means I won't be going anywhere for a bit. Outside of my kids' summer vacation in July I don't have anything on the radar as of yet.

doing my random checking up on flights for my june dates and the price is still above 500!!! 538 to be exact but now it says 3 seats at the price for my return flight!!! damn now my dates are not flexible so do i book or just assume that the 3 seats left at that price mean they still have the extra legroom seats there.... i wasnt expecting to pull the trigger till late april or so in hopes of a dip or a promo

You could fly into STI, it's $200 cheaper.

i know ive always been stubborn with the logic i want to land and get right to it and when i leave i want to leave at the last possible moment but 200 is 200 and everyone could use an extra 200... right now sti non stop is less than 100 dollars cheaper..WTF.... with 1 stop is about 112 cheaper right now...

I was looking at JetBlue JFK-POP yesterday and the cost of the flights is prohibitive. I do not see how the WW does it, the chcas are starting to get really expensive when you add the cost of the flight. hotel, etc.

mi always take into account what the flights cost are on top of what the chicas, rooms, food and drinks are going to cost....
a lot of times when a flight cost a lot of money mi won't go there.......
mi usually can get rooms for around $50 bucks most anywhere.......
and food and drinks for the most part can always be bought for around the same price most places.....
but the chicas cost is always a variable as well as the flight costs......
taking a $1,400 flight to Asia really wipes it off the map as I would have to pay nuthin for sex and food etc over there.....
the two least expensive places for mi to fly to that have good mongering at the right price are Santo Domingo and Montego Bay.....
all last year when mi traveled a half dozen times.......mi RT flights never cost mi more than $300.........
POP flights have almost doubled since mi saw you back in 2009......so it is a no go for this guy for now..........

I'm flying from Boston these days and the fairs on Jet Blue to POP in May are over $500. The new flights to Samana are right at $395. The flights are only on Wednesdays. I might just go to Las Terrenas for a week and skip Sosua altogether... plenty of pussy at La Bodega!!!!

Yeah i wish i took advantage of the jetblue sale they had a month or 2 ago but my dates were not set so i couldn't budge but now that my dates are set and im mentally locked in i know im going to buy it its just when... I'm waiting to hear back from my delta friend to see if I can get one of those passes but odds are I will be paying $598 before i go to bed tonight unless something changes.

you start running into when families go on vacation and prices skyrocket. I have been looking at end of june through july 4th to SDQ. Even SDQ from NYC is $550 right now those dates. I saw it wen to down to 450 last nite but is right back up. Those were fucked up flights on jetblue leaving at 3am etc.

I put in other locations and they were all over 550...sjo pop etc. just gotta pay if you wanna go on certain dates

Re: 11/2006 - JET BLUE TO PUERTO PLATA - Current Sales

agreed even the STI option that was suggested was less than 100 dollars cheaper and then factor in you still have to get to sosua it doesnt make it even better.. since my dates dont have any wiggle room like you said just have to pay.. and the countdown begins and when my card gets pulled out lol

Looks like in May for SDQ There is a good number of flights from JFK at 179 everyday, even friday and saturday. Its a bit more expensive on the way back. If you have true blue points though the redemption is lower coming back but the taxes are a bit higher. And speaking of points if you book by tomorrow (which is when the sale ends right?) you also get 4x True Blue points.

I normally don't get this excited about jetblue but I got an expiring credit and some true blue points that are set to expire if I dont use them.

Goodluck to everyone with the sale and make sure you check out the dates you want regardless of whether or not it is listed in the promotion page. You never know what you may find.
