    Saving your Delta miles.

As you know, they expire in 18 months if you have no activity.

You take surveys and get points, which you can apply to Delta and keep pusing the expiration date further out.

I've probably banked 7-8k miles on Continental over the last year and a half through e-rewards and e-miles. Supposedly it used to be better (a lot more survey opportunities) but I seem to get anywhere from 10-20 per month.

I'm doing the same thing with CO. I just got 500 miles plus a 250 bonus offer for signing up for the surveys. I was very excited about doing the surveys but I rarely get through a whole survey and get the full amount but the partial credits has been working for me too.

US Airways has the same thing and I believe you can get a HIT for their grandslam promo off of registering for E rewards through their website.
