    Luis Miguel Del Amargue

Where i live we have one latin radio channel and its usually rap or salsa but i heard a song that was pretty good and then i was like i wish i remembered the lyrics. Well i heard it again luckily and now after looking the song up its actually a Dominican artist and the song i heard, telefono ocupado, in the comments of the youtube video says its bachata.

So my question is this guys music mostly bachata style, and do you know other artists that sound like him.

BTW heres the song that heard:

    Thanks

Yes, one of my favorite bachateros. His voice has a slightly husky quality (bit like Nat King Cole if anyone remembers him). Mostly sings bachata. When he tries romantic ballads he sounds a bit wet like most of these bachateros. Similar style to Raulín Rodríguez who, however, is a more important artist. LMdA is not on the "A" list but is well up the "B" list. If you PM me your email address I can send you some of his other bachatas, but be aware these are big files (4 to 6 MB each).

Not to be confused with another Luis Miguel, a Spaniard based in Mexico who is popular across Latin America and in Spain. He sings pop/ballads and has won lots of Grammys.
