Probably, because it is in an awkward location, that doesn't have that much traffic, but it is a big building.Originally Posted by vdubman30

Yeahs hopefully we can get a scouting report before July/Aug
Is it accross the street from the other place then? At the bottom of the hill there is only the place that was called hollywood last year. I don't remeber seeing any other places there, but it could be. But there isn't much traffic there, It doesn't seem like a good location. ANy idea what the prices will be?
Did anyone check this place out? The opening was yesterday!Originally Posted by vdubman30

It is accross the street from Classico. There is a kaeoke place on the corner and it is beside that.
is that the place called Sosua Village. It seemed quiet both nights I went passed it.Originally Posted by kevyboy
I think that is the name of it. It has noeon signs in the window, says kareoke.
Club X was being worked on beside when I passed by.
All these new clubs are opening when the peso is in the shitter. Sounds like a losing proposition. I know this happens every where but atleast in the states you can borrow a shit load to open a club. Milk all the cash out of it you can till the popularity fades and then file bankrupcy.
They charge 100 pesos for beer and they need fewer customers to operate.

Even at 100 pesos a beer and 170 vodka/redbull drinks these places must bleed money big time. I figured the bribes alone would kill them. I guess these people are well connected.
No one is well connected in Sosua. Look around you and tell me what clubs are more than 2 years old?Originally Posted by guttaman
Doesn't look like all that much from the outside but inside is very impressive. Big club with VIP room. The new owner told me it's four tourists & no working girls.
Sounds like a cool place, but tourists, no working girls? and its right next to clasico and latino! hw many all inclusive family tourists does he think are gonna buy his presidentes all night?
I don't know where to post this, but Club X is apparently going to open this Thursday. When I went past it Saturday, they had the music going, and they were doing last minute fix ups.
Downtown Sosua will be booming, all they need are about 5,000 more tourists weekly.Originally Posted by knottydredd
