Valdez Albizu said that exchange houses and bankers had accepted the timely intervention in the market to stop the depreciation. In the first two weeks of January, the peso depreciated past the RD$39.50 to US$1 mark, and was hovering near the RD$40 to US$1 rate, when the authorities injected the reserves. ----------------------The AR currency is 4.33 X $1 by manipulation. It should be at least 6 X $1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The US (by printing money nonstop) and China (by refusing to let it float) also keep their currency artificially low to help their balance of trade, so the DR is not doing anything unusual. But please explain to me exactly how Argentina is keep their currency artificially high.

    Argentinas trade with the USA:

In US dollars In 2011, Argentina sold goods and services totaling $9,885,100 to the USA

In US dollars in 2011, Argentina purchased goods and services totaling $4,499,900 from the USA

Argentina's inflation is currently above 20 percent and their budget deficit is skyrocketing and their government is undermining their central bank in an act of desperation.

This is all coming to the DR next year in a more visible manner probably...imho...

This is the complete opposite of what you are complaining the DR is doing (raising their currency's value instead of lowering it.)

So what will it take to make Sidney happy? (intentionally loaded question)

That's because the THE CANADIEN GOVERNMENT refused to go along with our fuckin crooked global finacial system and government and destroy the housing industry worldwide by giving money to bad creditors without any collateral.

Backatcha! You are complaining that one country is raising its currency value and complaining that another country is lowering it's currncy value.

Some people might think you just like to complain.
