Canadian donates houses to the poor

The Samaritan Foundation yesterday inaugurated the Villa Paraíso barrio where they have built 206 homes with an investment of more than US$2 million to benefit the poorest families in Sosúa, Puerto Plata. The houses have been donated to an equal number of families.

During the opening ceremony the last 28 homes built so far were handed out by President of the Samaritan Foundation, Arismendi Medina and with the collaboration of the Ben Sawatk, President of the Spruceland, a Canadian company, and his friends, who contributed more than US$1.5 million. "They are very poor people who have nothing, living in shacks and have begged for a house and we ask our Committee to investigate whether these people were really so poor, and said if they qualify as poor families and children, then they are placed in a list to await their number," said Elio Madonia, a Canadian citizen, founder and treasurer of the organization which has organized the project.
The beneficiary families did not have to contribute anything of economic resources, their only commitment after asking for housing was to prove that they were very poor.




I don't ever want to hear the Canadian guys on the board complaining about the New York guys coming down and "making it rain" anymore.

Now these whores are going to be asking us for houses now !!

"living in shacks and have begged for a house" I'm missing why it's so important to take people out of shacks and build them a home over taking people who don't even have a shack of their own and giving them a shack.

People living in messed up tents in Haiti while hoes get free homes......

Don't knock shacks, I know plenty of people that live in them and consider them a home...not a house but a home. Give most of them $5,000 US and they will buy a car or waste it since a shack fits their needs. From the first link "we select one or two deserving families each year who have been living on the streets. They will be the recipient of a new, two-room cement home." <---This is where my thinking differs from almost every charity site I've been to. You can build 5-10 shacks for the same money getting more people living on the streets into a shelter/shack/home.

That second link seems straight up, "No monies are deducted for overheads as our officers pay their own travel, telephone, stationery and other expenses, and every cent and peso received goes to help the children."

Lol, as was part of my first post in this thread. Although I would find great humor in a housing for hoes charity. Then again I'm sure some can count on us for night to night lodging in all night paid gigs....

Yeah, so they can escape from their 'shacks' for the night .

And when they are in your room, make sure to tell them to flush the toilet after they take a piss .

My room.....no way, nothing beats busting a nut in a shack with all sorts of extended family and friends around. That way I don't have to worry about them flushing as I piss on their dirt floor

Shack sex rocks except when the kids come walking in like it a normal thing to do while mom is working.
