New Guy Flying to Puerto Plata Mar 4 to Mar 14th - anyone else there?

I'm new and keen to go to DR for the first time.
Booked 2 nights at a hotel in Sosua to start - then ???

Any and all advice appreciated.
Any veterans i the area during this same time period?

Bit of an exaggeration, but if your trip is only 10 days you won't get bored in Sosúa in that short time. In the daytime you can make trips to Cabarete and Puerto Plata for around a dollar each way. If you can find two or three other newbies to share (and there are usually enough around to do this) you could rent a publico (but not a regular taxi, please!) to visit Blackbeards from 4.30 to 6.30 and Whitebeards from 7.00 to 8.00, just to see what those places are like, and still be back in Sosúa before the main action starts at night.

If you speak just a little bit of Spanish you could be a bit more adventurous and visit other nearby towns or even Santiago. It is all extremely cheap by public transport.

Kendean, yes, there are always ISOC guys around to show you the ropes. Best place to meet them is Rocky's Bar for late breakfast. The manager, Rick, will be pleased to introduce you to some reliable and helpful ones to get you started. After that it is up to you. If you are a asshole you will soon be back on your own, but if you are a decent guy you will make lots of good friends from this board.

Quick Question - Is Whitebeard's the same as Blackbeards in terms of services provided? Girls available etc?

It's the nearest thing to Blackbeards, similar pricing, but nowhere near the choice of chicas. Also the chicas are only there in any numbers for limited hours, say 2pm to about 8pm. Those that haven't found a client by then usually go to Sosua or into Puerto Plata town to look for one. Whitebeards is better for guys who know the area, know a little Spanish, and prefer to find their own chicas. Worth a look on your way back from Blackbeards with a view to a possible future stay. Whitebeards was previously called Field of Dreams (see reports on this board).

Never been to Whitebeards/FOD, but it seems more like a hotel where independent chicas come and work as they see fit. Whereas Blackbeard chicas are employees that work in shifts, follow a schedule and have to pay a salida when they leave early or don't come to work when scheduled. For most this means that they don't have to worry about an ample supply of pussy being there at any given time, but keep in mind that some nights everyone wifes up and options may be slim for those that don't choose early. From a service aspect BB's has to be much better because of these differences.

Blackbeard chicas are employees.

Are you sure about that? Several years ago John made a big thing to me out of how the chicas were self-employed. If they are employees he would be liable to pay liquidacion if he sacked one, and other legal employees benefits. You may well be right, things change quickly in the DR, so I am not contradicting you. No doubt Mr Happy knows the exact set-up and maybe others do too.

But of course you are right that the Barba Negra chicas are much more regimented than the Whitebeards ones who just drift in and out as they please.

Your first two nights have to be at Passions if you want pussy but don't have the room, or not allowed to bring in guests... Go there around 5:00 5:30pm when the shift changes, by 6 pm most of the girls are ready for ya! You can do them there on site in a room, 1300 massage and blow job, 2500 full service, that means everything (including sex of course)... The 2 days at the AI not looking too bad after all.. Enjoy your trio and take pictures!!! By the way, you have another option, going to a cabana, short time hotel not too far from the action...
