No, there are better looking girls sometimes in classicos. The look of those girls really do it for some guys and then there are other guys that dont like that white european look. Pretty girls. But I'm a TnA man. Those beauty pageant and barbazon(spelling?) bitches really don't do it for me. I need a figure to go along with that face.

The typical model figure (rail thin) turns me off. And it really isn't representative of the women in that country. But in order to compete on a global level, the DR (just like a lot of other countries) is under pressure to conform to a Eurocentric standard of beauty. So all of their competitions feature women who look like they've seen neither a plate of beans and rice, nor the Caribbean sun their entire lives. Which is a shame IMO.

Ah well. Screw Vogue. Give me King Magazine. And is Black Men still in publication. Their bikini calendars used to be the stuff of wet dreams.

I agree. And one of them actually looks alien. lol. The only one who really caught my attention was Miss Hermanas Mirabal.

On the other hand, and in all fairness, more of them would probably look much better without the makeup and airbrushing. There are too many women running around these days who don't seem to understand that makeup should be used to enhance a woman's natural beauty, not mask it. Anytime I see a woman with too much makeup on I have to question what it is she's really hiding.
