Santiago, why not

got a flight to STI from JFK this monday for 380.00. since ill be in Santiago, Why not spend 2 days there. I read most of the posts and did a lot of research in regards to Santiago. I contacted the owner of 7dias7noches.net who gave me a list of clubs that i should def. check out. I.E. SOHO Rooftop , Dubai , Game studio. etc... based on the posts Passions and Illusionz is something i should def check out.. Although i am getting a lot of mixed signals...my question is... is passions and illusion prices really up on the 3000??? for short time??.. I speak decent spanish btw. also..is it worth getting a cabana closer to the monument or closer to passions ??....last but not least....how much is a taxi ride to the cabanas??

1. They'll probably start asking $3500 for S/T in Pasion and $3000 in Ilusiones. The final price depends on how busy the club is, how badly the chica needs the money, how horny she is, how handsome/hideous you are, etc. On a slow night, you should be able to get most girls to agree somewhere between 2000-2500 for ST. On a busy night, you might not even get them for $3000.

2. There aren't cabanas that I know of near the Monumento. Most of them are near the Airport/Pasion There's a couple on Rafael Vidal close to where Ambis used to be and there are some on the highway on the way Puerto Plata between Santiago and Navarrette. Save yourself the hassle and pay a little extra to stay at Bora Bora or Helios. IMO, they're much better than all the others.

3. Don't know the current price of a taxi around the city. Last time I took one (about 3 years ago) I think it was 150 pesos. It might be up to 200 now. Since the cabanas are a little out of the way from the center of the city, they might go up to 300 or 350. Anything above that and you're probably getting ripped off.

cool thanks for the info. Im also hearing about girls around the monument...how promising is that? is that a every night thing?? do u know if their prices are also sky rocket?

I've never been with a Monument girl, but they're there if you want them. They're the same as streetwalkers anywhere in the world. Very, very questionable quality at a discount price. cool i got you...i was planning on doing Santiago for 2 days and sosua for 4.. by the looks of things Ill find myself on a bus heading to Sosua the very next day lol... I heard the quality is much better in Santiago. but i don't really want to kick game to try and hook up when i can simply do that where i am now. its tuff decisions lol

I payed 4500 for tln at passion. It was packed with a lot of dominicanos only saw one other gingo from nyc. But imo the girls are crazy crazy crazy hot hot holy sh!t they are hot. I might go to Santiago on may 25 for the weekend and just do passions in Santiago. Just keep in mind the prices are not like sosua so if that is a problem for you consider just going to sosua.

Also remember that most of the girls at passions in Santiago didn't know any english. Not one word and its loud so it can be almost impossible to get what you want if your Spanish isn't good. The one I tln she did know English so you might get lucky and find the one that study English in H.S. and remember no pics one guy almost got his ass kicked out for taking a pic of a girl doing her show. I've taken dozens of chicas from Pasions, and I've never paid this much. I set my limit at 3500. At times it's just a matter of timing. That, and being able to walk away from a crazy price. Oh, and being able to speak decent spanish.

If I just have to have a chica, but can't get her down to my price range, I just take her # and try to hook up with her during the day. The price will drop dramatically.

You should expect to pay in Pasions what you would would pay in La Passions in Sosua, or Cristals in Puerto Plata. Which makes sense because they are all casas. But freelance chicas are generally cheaper in Santiago than in Sosua IMO. They just won't be as out in the open and easy to locate as in Sosua. You're paying a premium for point and click mongering.

And always get an upscale sweet with big jacuzzi for about 1000. Now the cabana confuses me. For 1000 ive been kicked out after 3 hrs but sometimes after 5 or 6 hrs. hhhhmmm!! Thats odd because when we were trying to get a chica out for the wing man she said that she couldn't leave until midnight and the crazy thing is that we told her that the wing would pay for the salida but she said that she couldn't. I just didn't get it what was I missing or not seeing

She just didnt want to leave. It happens sometimes. especailly early in the day/night, they think they can make more fucking for volume if its busy.

I'm really struggling on whether or not to spend some time in Santiago vs Sosua. Me & the fellas are headed down in a couple months and the plan right now is to spend the first two nights in Santiago (Wed/Thurs) and then hop the bus up to Sosua for the next 3 nights(Fri/Sat/Sun). I speak enough spanish to communicate (not well, but they usually get the point) and so does one other of the crew, but the others don't...is Santiago going to be too rough for them? Sounds like Sosua may be the better option for thw whole trip but I keep hearing that the BADDEST chicas on the island are in Santiago

I'm gonna second this. Santiago definitely isn't Sosua or even Santo Domingo. If you've been to the DR and feel comfortable with the culture and want to explore some more, I'd probably even recommend Santo Domingo before you go to Santiago. I think you should save Santiago until your Spanish is on point and you've got some of the Dominican swagger and habits down.
