The deputy prosecutor general for the Electricity System (PGASE), Moises Ferrer reports that five people have been arraigned before the magistrates accused of stealing a transformer in San Francisco de Macoris. The coercive measures were imposed on the five who must report to the prosecutor every two weeks before the trial begins. If they are convicted they face jail sentences of up to 10 years and fines ranging from RD$50,000 to over a million pesos.
