    Ana Mirian Night Club

First of all I cannot say enough about this place.

I recommend every I.S.O.C. member visit, it is a much better alternative to Crystals's or Plaza Mumbo (way overpriced drinks) or El Bohem (rumored to be closing)! Galatica is a low priced alternative but you get what you pay for!

The only con I could see is the place is small, maybe a max occupancy of 80 people.

    The Pros:
-The girls are very nice, not all of them but you can't expect perfection everywhere.
-Presidente Grandes are RD$100! You pay $150 for a pequeña at Crystals!
-One of the girls ordered a Dewar's, it was $150ish, you would pay $500 at Crystals! (I am guessing on the price for Dewars: 2 Presidentes, 1 Ciclon, and the 1 Dewars was RD$420)
-One hell of a lesbian show!

    The Facts:
Salida or In-House fuck is RD$500 either way.

If you come in a tourist taxi it is RD$1000 since there is a $500 kickback to the tourist taxis. This ONLY applies to the tourist taxis, to beat it you have a couple options:
    1. Take a normal taxi.
    2. Have the tourist taxi drive you to the central park, church, or the bank and then walk to Ana Marian.

Pequena Presidente is currently (last week) 100rd at Crystals. Otherwise the place seemed ok. Saw a couple of chicas I liked, maybe it was a slow night.
The funniest part was we had a Moto conch give us directions by following him from el bohem. It was a few blocks winding with the one way streets. When we got there Jimmy offers him 20 pesos for his trouble and he wanted 100. He wouldn't accept 20 and we went in. Over half an hour later he is stil waiting for us to get 100. I pay him 20 and we drivce off, I think he wasn't going to accept that either.

Anytime at night I always drive the Malecon rather then the highway, it's much nicer and safer!

But the highway is south of the Malecon and your best bet is to take it to the second turn-about (the street with Plaza Olivio & El Bohem), and go north to Duarte or Beller, that street is just a couple street west of San Felipe.

    Full Puerto Plata Map!
Here, Ana Mirian is just east of #13 on the Fort San Felipe and downtown area of Puerto Plata Map.

I really thought Kevyboy was about to get out, knock the guy to the ground and jam the 20 pesos in his pocket.

I was talking in the gringo room where they "guide" any newbie walking in.

They have running water in the bathrooms, that is new. As for a shower I didn't use the onsite facilities.

As for how much the chicas are that is dependant on your negotiating skills and the chica, the prices are not set by management.

Sounds good, what are the opening hours? Are they open till late?

And a silly question, how do you tell a tourist taxi from a non-tourist taxi? Are the taxis at the petrol station in Sosua non-tourist taxis?

Tourist taxis are usually beige and always say "Taxi Tourismo". They are the guys at the airport.

Hours are from 9am to 4am or later.

Basically, for that area of Puerto Plata you just need to know where thiings are in relation to the Parque Central and then it is easy to find. I won't need the map next time.

The main highway is Av Jose Gabrera, the spelling on the last name is not quite readable on my map.
