I would love to see Brazil next, but most likely I am going back to the Dominican Republic in December and possibly early spring 2011.

That would be interesting to know. Just think if 3some would have did a write in vote and said move to Cali and get married noone would have believed it.

I know some people are indecisive and I understand that. But when I make up my mind it is hard to stop the mission. Yesterday I would have said the chances of Thailand for this winter were slim to none and PI was only a definite maybe. Now PI is out for now and I will Stick to Thai

Re: What country do you want to see next?

Ecuador interests me the most, due to the low living costs. I need cheap places to balance out the expensive places when I travel long term (say like 3 weeks in medellin/cali, 4 weeks in ecuador, and so forth). From what I have read it looks Cambodia-cheap, and if true this would seriously help with the viability of S. America as a long term travel option.

However, if I end up relocating out to Miami in a couple weeks like I am hoping the Dominican Republic is more likely as a first new country for me. Like Marky on the previous page, I have never been there.

My part-time roommate wont shut up about Nepal. He has never been but he is utterly convinced it is a hidden pussy frontier. I think he's wrong, but I'll still prolly accompany him on a trip if he takes one.

Philippines. People are a little friendlier there than the Caribbean and South America, and if you stay away from the tourist areas, cheaper and less dangerous. Take a boat to Cebu,or Negros Oriental, where you're one of few foreigners and ......

Hear you on the Philippines but that friggin flight over and back would be a killer for this guy.
Guess that is why so many opt for Colombia.

Actually some of the places are in the Caribbean are overly friendly, so much so that you need to back away from them a lot of times.

Ever done it in a C-130 ?? Not fun at all, especially when you have to go potty...

That's why I moved to the DR, I just didn't care for the distance even though I know the Philippines pretty good from having been stationed there a few times.

Re: What country do you want to see next?

    Vietnam.

It looks like a beautiful country and apparently the mongering is off the charts.

I met a young fellow in a strip club about 4 years ago and he said he went to Ho Chi Minh city (formerely Saigon) for the the chicas. He was raving about it. He said that the prices were low for the chicas because mongering for foreigners was relatively new there and the chicas did not know any better regarding what to charge.

He said chicas were pouncing on them as soon as they stepped out of the airport.

Sounds like my kind of place!

if you have access, check out the reports by Gladiator and Hunter. There is information regarding the scene out there, but I don't remember hearing prices of the girls being low, but rather high.
