Hurricane Sandy-Is there flooding in Sosua?

Just saw video on the Weather Channel showing Samana, DR streets heavily flooded. How's the rain along the north coast around Sosua?

Very bad in Santo Domingo. (According to another favorita.)

I was chatting with a chica in Sosua at lunch time. She did not mention anything about the weather.

I understand that there is a lot of rain in Sosua but not any major flooding thankfully.

Thanks for the storm update. At this point, I'm more concerned about just getting to STI, as I am flying via Boston and Miami early on Sunday. I would think flights might be delayed or canceled as the storm moves up the east coast of the USA.

All is fine in Sosua. Much cooler in the last few days. Got some rain yesterday and today just a drizzle. Clear skies tonight. Tomorrow should be nice!!!

Thanks for the updates everyone. I'm flying in on Saturday through Newark. Hopefully flights won't be impacted too much (cross my fingers).
