If you want to be on the Malecon area and not too pricey like the Jaragua and totally girl friendly I have stayed at the Napolitano. Last time I stayed there was about a year ago with the wife and still girl friendly and was about 70 dollars a night. I've taken women there years ago and was totally gf. We usually stay in Apart Hotel Atalaya and is about 50 per night and I asked if they were girl friendly and receptionist said yes but need to register with cedula and they use discretion, this too was about a year ago so double verify if you want to stay there. If you pick up a nasty sw from Parque Independencia you might run into problems. I like this place because rooms are good sized with kitchenette and close walk to Sirenas Supermercado and Megacentro mall I believe it's called where there's a lot of stores and plenty of women walking around.
