    'Oh Papi'

Anyone know what's behind the 'oh papi' during 'the act'?

First time I'm doing the deed with a Dominican (might have been the second, but pretty sure it was the first) and she starts making the appreciative noises and then as things 'get up to speed' starts throwing in 'oh papi'.

Now first time in DR, don't speak Spanish so much, but this broke my rythem as I did a mental 'ummm, did she just call me 'daddy'? Listen closer second time and no, 'it's papi', shrug it off, maybe it means something else but sounds disconcertingly close to 'papa'.

Next day I'm chilling out with another chica and during the conversation says something like 'si papi' or something. So I stop and ask her what it means. She gets a little help from someone who speaks more English and confirms it means 'papa or daddy'. This might be good for some, but not my thing and I tell her not to call me that. She catches herself a couple more times while we're talking so obviously its a reflex and not something special for me - but she does stop. I didn't take her back to my room so no idea if it would have still come out during the act or not.

During the trip it seemed to be a routine verbal appreciation.....
"You can fuck my friend for money. It is no problem.". So I did.

Female in the states say it sometimes during sex. They say "yes, daddy Fuck this pussy" or "this pussy is yours daddy" etc. No big deal

    9" of dick.

Needless to say, I've never heard the phrase uttered during my, um, performances.

I think I heard the same phrase used by pretty well all the girls I had in DR, especially the ones at Blackbeard's resort. In addition, the Blackbeard's girls did this stupid thing where they are playing with my nipples during the deed and while they were saying the phrase. This didn't do a thing for me (but didn't turn me off either).

Si papi's are a dime a dozen. When you get a huskily whispered "que rico" you know you're bringing it.

What the hell. In many Latin communities every man, boy, child is 'Papi'. Women call their sons Papi, dudes call their homies Papi, girls call their lil boyfriends Papi. Everybody can be called Papi. Get over it if a chica wants to call you Papi of all things.

In the D.R. many Women have never met their biological Fathers. She was probably hedging her bets just in case you were, indeed her "Papi". How much younger than you was she?

You must not hang out with many afro-latino folk where you're from. In general, "papi" is a term of endearment. I've noticed that puerto ricans use it more than dominicans. I've been told that dominicans usually reserve the term for significant others (unless she's a puta). Whereas puerto ricans call everyone papi.

I prefer papi to the current trend, which is to call everyone "negro".

I was with a young girl in Pattaya and she used to call me daddy. I did not mind being called pappi but (sugar) daddy sounds awful to me

Actually, it's similar to saying "oh, baby." You'll hear it during the act of sex or, as I think someone else pointed out, during a simple conversation with a chica who knows you fairly well, or one who wants to get to know you well. Papi basically means "baby," depending on the context in which it's used.

The one that got me and my neighbor's attention repeatedly said very loudly, "Cono dame tu leche, dame tu leche". That child was working so hard that I feared I might break her. I've just had one foolish chick tell me duro. From Santiago, 5'6" and about 135lbs. That hoe beat me up so much that I wouldn't session with her again. Every time she would approach me after that I would make the sign of the cross with my fingers. Baby was way cute, but there was no way I was going to give her another chance to injure me.

She sounds like my "dream date".

When they bust me up so bad and drain my nuts so good that I don't even want to look at Punani the next day all I can say is "job well done". Hopefully one of that type will escort me to the next plane of existence one day. I want them to need a chisel to get the coffin lid closed.

    Re: 'Oh Papi'

The first time I heard "que rico" was during a particularly delightful session with the ex-novia. She was so far gone that when she said it I just figured she had forgotten she was with me. We finish and I give her some time to compose herself then I gently confront her, "who the hell is Rico". She chuckled before breaking it down for the stupid gringo.

I get called 'chino' all the time down in latin america. I've learn to accept it as not being mean, it's just the way they talk. At Blackbeard's, this one middle aged guy janitor there stretched out his hand to offer a handshake one morning while he said 'buenos dias chino, how is your vacation so far?'

That's when it really confirmed that they use the term not as a derogatory purpose but just as a normal everyday talk. Girls in Costa Rica, Mexico and DR who were trying to get my attention have all called me that - but never during sex!
