That makes sense for texting, but there should be agreement on standard abbreviations. Is there?

I guess there is but if someone need to translate it your S.o.l. and not everybody knows the abbreviations . Dominicans do the same thing. Klk...tqm.... bb... ect..

both countries people use slang and spell phonetically in unformal writing. I know a lot of younger people that the average person could not translate there facebook post.. or go read a youtube post on a hip hop video...

If you can understand the language, I have learned that the trick is to simply read their posts phonetically. It's easier to understand them that way cause that's how those illiterate hos spell shit.

I'm Puertorrican, so my main language is Spanish. I can tell you that in order to understand some of their written language, you have to imagine it phonetically with their way of speaking. If you try with a proper Spanish pronunciation, it won't work.
All things considered...I'd rather be fucking!

Re: 10/2013 - Venturing out of Puta Land......San Francisco De Marcoris

By the way, San Francisco has some really nice cabanas. I've been in San Francisco a number of times and always enjoyed it.

But I vote for a hotel in some other place because when you go to her home, the word will get out that she has a gringo in tow. That means family and friends will come out the woodwork and every meal becomes a production and there will be partying and it will all be on your dime. if you really get along with her, find a nice place to be alone with her.
Ah but I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now!

I've never seen a chica type 'b' for bien. they usually use 'bn'
gx is also used for gracias.
tkm is also used for 'te quiero mucho', i think they actually use the k more than the q

    ayfon!

the one that took me a while to figure out was 'mamol'

    mi amor.

    go figure.

This is very important. If she is from SFdM I'd suggest to take her to Samana, a cheap and nice pension in Las Terrenas and enjoy each others company.

If she refuses - then you know the jug is up...

...are you saying that SFDM is to Samana and Las Terrenas like Santiago is to Sosua?

No, not even remote... SFDM is a small place and Santiago is 'La Segunda Capital'...

The thing is, Samana can be a nice couple beach destination, without her family feeding on him.. and it's fairly close to each other so you can bring her back if things don't work out in about 1.5 hours.. or just kick her on the Caribe Tours
