On my most recent trip May 27-June 5 my cost for a bottle of Barcello at RT was consistently 450RD.
Now perhaps he charges other people a greater price but that is what I am charged there for a bottle of rum each and every time that I was there during the last trip which was several different nights.
I also bought a bottle of Barcello in the supermercado and while I don't remember the exact price, I believe it was somewhere around 350-380 RD

Barcello is what to order. Much better than Brugal. anyway, a bottle will give you at least 7 good quality drinks when you add a cola light, much better value than ordinary cube libre piss (as at least in Latinos obm)

This one in the upper right Anejo at 255.40 peso is a good deal at the club with Cola and ice bucket for 500 peso.
imho the best value Dominican Rum is Bermudez Anniversario.

This is available in most any bar in the DR. When ordering it is called a "Servicio". Price varies between 600 - 400 pesos depending on the quality of rum you get and the pricing at the bar you are at. When I first started buying them in 2002 you would get two bottles of soda along with the rum and ice. Most times when I go out I will buy one of these and share it with whatever chica or chicas I happen to be attracted to. Beats the hell of of paying 150 pesos a pop buying cervezas or cuba libres for the talent. If they don't want to drink what I'm drinking they can buy their own.

You can buy it in a colmado for that, but I doubt you will be paying that in a typico or a chica bar. A bottle of anejo in the Mercado is 200 pesos. Add a refresca and you are up to 250.

Swore she'd never fuck me again. We reconciled my last trip, but of course being a woman it wasn't going to be that easy. We're sitting in Rumba with her new crew which has contains a very pretty big girl with a smile that's full of life. She's playing nonchalant trying to extort me on price when I look up and see a vision. A grown woman who was at least a nine. An absolute beauty. Probably one of the best looking chicks I've ever seen in Sosua. Made me forget about Shomary and I've not thought about her since. That new girl, Perla, made her look like the 19 year kid she is. Completely and I mean completely out shined her by at least a factor of two.

A friend tells me Rancho Tipico was shut down on Friday night/Saturday morning by the police. I don't really have any other details. I think the "clausurado" stickers may have been put up, not sure.
