She left the place in the hands of her amiga, Eliza (who may just be the best GFE on the island). Was Eliza still around on your last pass through there?

Just wondering. I've been away a long time and we've had some fond memories made at that place. We met Jenny in St. Maarten back in 2006 when she was working Casa Blanca and she made her dream happen when she got back home. She's still got a couple income properties in Santo Domingo and is doing well. I love a Ho story with a happy ending.
I visited twice, first time with Koki (he showed me the place), then it had a room in the back for private lap dances (not too tall, blonde hair chica behind the bar), one of the chicas was grinding me and grabbing the dick while I stood at the bar drinking a beer. From there headed over to Praia (first and only time there, visited Docks Lounge in Plaza Acropolis earlier that night, after Praia went to Mint disco in Hotel Napolitano with Koki and two amigas and it was packed). Praia is a half block from Cats.

Second time at Cats visited with another Monger and it seems the room in the back was no more. They now had a small, cubicle like room near the front door. Busty chica greeted us when we entered. Koki probably knew about the place from your posts (thanks).

Seems to open after 5PM, second floor of a fairly new, nice plaza with other business and a parking area. I would go back.

If you do, try La Lasagne, downstairs. It is a very unassuming Italian restaurant that has a very good basic Italian menu. The food is good and the wine selection is nice. I used that place as an interview parlor for Gata's Chicas over antipasto and vino. It's quiet, tasteful and friendly and they don't get a lot of foreign visitors.

On your recommendation, I'll eat there (Lasagna is pinned on Google Maps, someone looking for Cats, can look for Lasagna). I might stay a few nights at Hotel Plaza Naco (free use of Body Shop Gym, good size pool at this gym). Hotel Plaza Naco used to be called the Clarion, walking distance to Lasagna and Hills; http://do.flowmag.com/hills-lounge-music-bar-cigar/ . Thanks.

    Pretty women work at Hills.

Chef Pepper on the same block. Praia there too, getting remodeled. And on the other side of Avenida Lope de Vega, Cats (which had starting prices at 500 pesos, last time I visited there, over a year ago).

Yes it's in the new sliver tower. There is going to be a hotel on the top levels. I was told a Hilton, but Happy said it's going to be different one.
Also in the the new tower is the hottest new restaurant in town.... Applebees's, yes women get dressed up to go there. I have to say it's decorated nicely, the staff is friendly and food comes out in a decent time. Place was packed.

Only thing about the place is that it reminds me how economically divided this country is. You would think a policeman or office worker would be able to take his family to freak'n Applebee's not here, they would have to take out a loan. LOL. Also the majority of customers there do not look like the Dominicans I see everyday.

Silver Sun Gallery is the name of the building, https://foursquare.com/silversunssg/photos cinema there; https://foursquare.com/v/caribbean-c...6c77d67/photos Skyscrapercity page; http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=387579

When I drove by there last November, the sign near the entrance for the new hotel said Embassy Suites by Hilton.

Yep. Embassy Suites. Forgot that's Hilton.

You have to check out the movie theater. I don't know what they're using, but the screen image is incredibly sharp and focused. I'd say the clearest of all the movie places I've been to so far.

Thanks Jao, stopped in there last night. The place is really nice, not great acoustics but nice chilled atmosphere.

Before going there I had dinner at El Rey del Falafel, a nice Mediterranean restaurant not to far away on Billini esq, Sanchez. Dinner for two (Kebab, wine, and Humus) came to $1,200 pesos.

Thanks, that looks like a very nice place (with an inside courtyard, with some tables sitting up over a part of the courtyard).

Wine shop next door to Lulu, you can buy a bottle there and drink it at Lulu (might have an inside open air courtyard) http://www.lulu.do/

A guy from France told me in Zona Colonial, Taberna Vasca has good French food (a few blocks up from Hotel Mercure on Calle Hostos, walk in the direction of vehicular traffic, north); http://www.zonacolonial.com/wheretoeat/tabernavasca

They sell VIP tickets, but it's not VIP like Malecon Center or Blue Mall. They consider the first few rows to be "regular" seating, then a passageway, a railing, and all the seats behind that rail are considered VIP. Not quite sure what they were thinking with that one. You also select the seat you're going to sit in at the ticket booth, just like Galeria 360.

Seats are pretty comfortable, they take orders at your seat, and they have neat little bases that fit into the cup holder that increases it's usable area by about 300%.

I would not be happy paying regular price and sitting in one of the first rows.

Thanks for the seat info, good information to know.

If I stay at the Hotel Plaza Naco, I can walk over to the Silver Sun Cinema and watch a movie, then have a cigar at Hills, walk over to Cats, eat at Lasagna and Chef Pepper. New SuperMercado Nacional within walking distance of Silver Sun, where a bottle of wine can be purchased. I was told Hotel Plaza Naco is chica friendly if you give the names of the chicas who will be visiting at the time of check-in, security might stop a guy otherwise. Recently remodeled good size rooms, swimming pool and breakfast. Free use of the Body Shop Gym, when staying at the Hotel Plaza Naco (a few blocks away), swimming pool there and it seems boxing equipment (I'll bring a pair of heavy bag gloves). Bottoms Bar in Hotel Plaza Naco might be good some nights.
