    04/2014 - Cafe Cubano

If you need to order salads for a party or whatever Cafe Cubano should be your first stop. Excellent potato salad and coleslaw. We had a little gathering Thursday and picked up salads from Cafe Cubano on short notice. Brian, the owner, gave us a great deal on salad for 12 people. He actually gave us more than enough at a very good price. Not the first time he has done that for me.
    Enjoy it while you can.

I've never had a bad meal at Cafe Cubano. The steak sandwich is great! My kids loved breakfast there. And I know rushdog went nuts for the brownie. He was there just before closing every night to get his fix!!!

    Thumbs Up Re: Cafe Cubano

The sandwiches are great too and the coffee if fantastic!

Also it's the best place in Sosua to get advice on and purchase cigars.

When walking from Calle Dr. Rosen, the street where the Texaco, Rocky's, New Garden, etc....are located, towards the casino it is just over 1 block past Rumba, on the same side of Pedro Clisante, past Merengue and almost directly across the street from Schnitzel Paradise and just past the Winner's Circle. If you get to The Britannia Pub you just past it, lol

Just beware of the prices. If you order a coffee and on the menu it says 60 pesos if you ask for milk in it the price magically jumps up another 40 pesos. Same trick they use in POP airport.

    Pictures Re: Cafe Cubano

That's because if you add milk, which they steam/heat for you and give in a small jug, you really ordered a Cafe con Leche which is also on the menu at a different price. It's like that in many restaurants...so that you pay for what you use.

If you like you coffee black why should you pay the same as someone using milk too?

Gotta agree with everyone about the coffee. Great!!! My favorite after breakfast spot for my morning stick (cigar) and cafe con crema (whipped cream).
Lick 'em good. Fuck 'em hard. Leave 'em breathless!
