So it looks like I will be heading to Medellin in late June. I hope to stay for about a month and practice some espanol (possible classes or language school) but also want to partake with some of Medellin's lovely chicas! Of course I'd appreciate any advice that you guys might have. I'm hoping to find a condo or apartment to save costs that would accrue from 30 nights in a hotel.
For some background, I have spent a week in Colombia but didn't really get to get too crazy. Through a friend, we stayed with a well to do family in Medellin and they were awesome hosts but obviously my nightlife was limited. I also had a short 2-day visit to Cartagena and one fun night out in Bogota with a local. I saw enough to see the potential of Medellin and I did see some real beauties- just didn't really have the chance to pursue.
My spanish is limited but hope to practice before departure and also hope to immerse and learn while there. I'm around spanish a ton but can't really speak it. As far as mongering, I've had a couple of fantastic trips to Thailand and been to couple of other Asian destinations but I'm anxious to see what Medellin is all about!
Any advice and thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
