05/2014 - Hotel Don Michele Reviews

Has anyone stayed at Hotel Don Michele on Boca Chica Beach? The small hotel next to Yayow's place www.senortranquilos.com beach bar. I heard it was only $30/night but that was the extent of the info. Might try it the next time I am in B.C.

I was there a few weeks ago. I didn't stay but I looked at a couple of the rooms. The prices were $40-$50. They were newly painted. You could still smell the fresh plaster. They were basic rooms. Bed, safe and shower. There's a restaurant bar downstairs. Looks like a good place if you like being in the center of the action.

For $50, I need a pool like the Gurant. At $40, its looking like a deal.

Yes, towards the Boat House. When I was in B.C. in May they were remodeling some of the rooms and doing some outside construction too.
