Every dollar pizza spot I've been to sucks except one. The slices are tiny. I wouldnt call it great pizza. But it certainly doesn't suck! It good. The place always has a line..

There seems to be this great generalization about Dominican women on this board. All of them are whores, gold diggers, and so on, and so forth. As a Dominican I do take great exception to this, because I know for a fact that isn't the case, look at me I surround myself with chicks who are not interested in money, who are not interested in me marrying them for a visa, who just want to spend some quality time with a dude they vibe with, and actually like.

Sometimes it seems that a lot of BM here have this inability to separate themselves, from their reality, and accept someone else's as possible, just because you can't spend some time with a chick without having to give her money at the end of your time spent, doesn't mean it's the world everyone else is living in, or experiencing.

I get very tired of the "They're all whores" attitude myself, along with the old "You know how Dominicans are" mindset. I have bitten my tongue more that once.

But then again, there's no shortage of Dominican women here that think the only reason tourists come to the island is to fuck the women.

Both attitudes leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't understand why folks just can't get together, spend an afternoon/evening hanging out having a good time, then taking it one step further if they enjoy each others company without the stereotypes kicking in.

I'm not thinking anything, you guys assume way too much without actually being there. I know exactly what Dominican Cupid is and I've interacted with quite a few girls on there and met a bunch of them through my friends. All I'm saying is she don't give off the same vibe as the others because I think she might actually like me(shocking I know) and my friends can back me up on that. You guys are jumping straight to the conclusion that I'm going to fall in love with her and end up crying at the airport when she leaves me lol.

I've been to the place on spring street. It was good. But i Remember when all the pizza shops had Italians in them. Everybody had good pizza. Now even Arthur ave. In the Bronx is run by Albanians. Where did all the Italians go???

Its not just pizza its pretty much everywhere. Look at most sushi bars now, you see 1 chinese or thai dude, and 3 amigos from central america.

Where the hell did you get good steak in DR?!?! That's a shocker for me.... I do love the garlic fish with yellow rice and red beans at Mofongo King on Sosua beach! Thanks Tiger and XXX for that one! The restaurant at Victorian house is really good too... Other then that, nothing I would really put over NYC... Now Medellin has some great steak, and cheap! What the hell was this thread about again? lol
