    11/2014 - Never a dull moment

Following on from Michel's thread where there was some discussion regarding last weeks floods

    http://news.insearchofchicas.org/for...hlight=islabon

On Tuesday I was at my villa talking with my tenants, when we thought we saw something that resembled a crocodile in the river. Previously I had been joking with them about all the wild animals that populate the area and that crocs were very common.

After this conversation I also stopped by another friends place who is also riverfront.

Now this guy a few years back took over a zoo and river tour business and part of his animal collection included baby crocodiles. I have always joked with him that if these escaped then he should at least let me, as a riverside neighbor, know about it.

So I asked him if all was well and he assured that everything was as it should be.

So around lunchtime today I got a phonecall telling me that a croc had been spotted in the water at Kite Beach in Cabarete.

    Re: Never a dull moment

Much discussion was taking place as to whether or not capture was possible or the possibility of gator being on the menu tonight in Cabarete

Finally the local fishermen with support from Medio Ambiente officials took off and successfully captured a 2 meter long croc

    Re: Never a dull moment

Now the only question for me is that the original zoo owner had 2 baby crocodiles....so

(Disclaimer - none of the pics are mine)

At least this episode has taken the focus off the hooker that was sadly sliced and diced in Cabarete on Saturday night.

If it was a male and female, it's likely there are several now. Maybe they'll start eating all the roosters.

Nah. She's decomposing. She's been dead a couple of days already. That is her skin bubbling up with gases.

Thats what i thought also when i saw it, but the posters on DR1 were saying it like it was a FACT that those were her intestines, and like she was sliced open. .
so since when are the lower intestines higher than the small ? i thought.

.. .man they just make shit up over there on DR1..

From what I read in facebook this is her. The pic in the first link doesn't look like her. I actually didn't know her as a hooker. She had a boyfriend for quite a while and they hung around Voramar quite a bit. I did see her go downhill, she started aging quickly the last few years and a few chicas told me she was heavy into drugs.

Swimming with crocodiles, just one more attraction to lure tourists to the North Coast.
