    Re: 12/2014 - 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

Realized I never updated, got lazy.

D'Piero was well placed but the apartment on the second floor was just too noisy. Samba's is about 100 feet away and the sound wall does not reach as high as the second floor. They are talking of trying double glazing but don't think it will work out. Good luck getting to sleep before 3am.
Staff were excellent, everything was great but the noise issue killed it for me. Too bad, all else was really good.

Sosua was quieter but still managed to find something when I wanted. Didn't session much but all sessions were good, no drama.
Best session was an 18 year old from Santiago (18 and one week), seemed relatively new to the sosua game but not the game.

Met the usual suspects, always makes the trip better.

RT not as lively, change in staff can make or break it. Just seemed mellower this time.
Bar Central the same, still one of my go to places.
Classico's, last time I'll be in there, not worth it anymore (my opinion only).
Rhumba's, quieter but still lively at the end of the week.

Beach, seemed quieter, not as much chica traffic.
This was over 17 days with Semana Santa included ( may have been a factor).

Next trip December, unless somewhere else draws my interest. Still like the whole Sosua package for now.

Breakfast was included with the room so didn't eat at a lot of places, basic selection but good.

Britannia: Good as always, best fish and chips around.

La Costera: Decent food, good prices, fast service.

Tom's Scandanavian: First time I'ver tried ther, service was dead slow. Was going to complain until I bit into the burger, one of the best ever.

Rancho Tipico: Specials are always a good deal, order the special on the night it is on and it is really good. Order on other nights and it is hit and miss.

SchlemmerStubel (or however it is spelled): Decent food at a reasonable price.

Everything else was from Super Pola, good selection.

No squirts, so all was good....

thanks for the Crown Royal Northern Harvest. $1200 pesos was a great price for that tasty drink. Took it home to Vancouver and have had a few with friends. So far everyone likes it.

Crown Royal ... Rye ... That sounds splendid. I'm going to have to check on it, at my County package-store.

Make sure it is Northern Harvest, won whisky of the year for 2016. Just brought too much booze and never got around to trying it. Glad Ezsmile enjoyed it.

Makes me think I should have drank more on the trip....

It is very smooth. I picked it up from DV at Rancho Tipico one evening. The waitresses sure wanted to try it!

    Re: 12/2014 - 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

Quality of chicas has been going down overall since I have started going, but given the sheer volume there are still plenty of appealing choices out there.

Most of the girls I've gotten to know over the years are still around town in one capacity or another.

Some working, some actually working jobs, some looking for work and some living on WU (not me).

Biggest disappointment to me was Clasico's, a shadow of it's former glory. Weightwatchers could clean up in there now..... all the WW chicas.

Loved the line some said about the D'Latin chicas look like they had eaten the Clasico chicas. Looks like the new batch ate the old D'Latins.

Overall I still feel the complete package that is Sosua to me is still very much worthwhile.

    See Y'all in December!

I remember one of our conversations (and you've stated it here) about having a little bit of a different experience this trip.......much more tranquil and laid back. Sometimes that's just what is needed........and sometimes a better time is had.

Glad you enjoyed yourself and good seeing you again. December will be here before you know it!

Found it at the package store this evening - on sale, probably because it's a new product for them.

Oh my, that's delightful. Rye has its own character, especially GOOD rye, and this is GOOD rye....

Only thing to do different next trip is find a quieter place.......

Last two trips have had noise issues (and not just snoring chicas), hope my luck is better next time. Three would not be a charm.....

Most people here that have a few trips under their belt get the same way I think. Enjoying the journey as much as the destination.

The knowledge gained from here along with the time on the ground allows for a richer experience to me. Watching the dynamics of the town, watching how different types of people interact, sniffing out the rookies, getting a better read on the chicas, watching the sharks circle for the kill (and not being the kill).

It is true, you can smell the newness on people. I remember talking to a guy in Rhumba's and I knew he was new even before he told me he got an ST last night for 4,000 pesos, hopefully he paid less after our conversation.....

Had the same problem years ago, when Sambo opened. Too bad they dont do anything against it. It was already an issue back when passion was opened.

    Saga continues in December.

Booked at Victoria House for 2 weeks. Should be relatively noise free, apart from the waves.....

Damn, just over 5 months to go.....
