    12/2014 - 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

    4th Trip to the Sou.

Past mistakes learned from (don't repeat stupid shit): Don't carry a wallet, harder to lift bills and only bring out with you what you need. Don't wear expensive jewellery (last trip almost lost a gold chain, this trip 2 neck massages where the collar was flipped to look for a chain).

Most important thing learned: Try to find members, makes a whole new dimension to the trip. Haven't meet a bad member yet and have had the pleasure of relaxing with a few good BM's on all trips.

Not going to discuss sessions since nothing outstanding and nothing bad (besides the only names I usually remember are NEXT and LAST).

After 4 trips the shine is almost gone from Pedro Clisante, still check it but while quantity is still there it seems more aggressive and less quality. Only hopping places right now are Rumbas, Bar Central (Haitian Embasssy) and Classico's.

Have stayed previously at New Garden and Sosua Suites, both are good places with very few issues. Staying at Casa Cayena, best place so far. Central and quiet, decent price. Really good food and friendly staff. Get the bungalow if you can, nicer room.

My 2 favourite places have become the beach (Playa Sosua) and Rancho Tipico (RT).

If you want to smash and run go to PC, if you want to have a good time go to RT. Just my personal opinion but it seems a few people agree with me, it is usually busy every night and full of ex-pats (but what would they know, right?).

Best exchange places are Banco Popular and Western Union, other wise street changers are a little lower. I've used both this trip. On Sundays it seems the street vendors try to give you 2,000 notes which are a pain, just go to another place. They will either find smaller notes or the next guy will.

If you've never been here then be prepared that almost everyone is your new "fren" who has something they want to show or sell you, don't get pissed off, this is their living. Most days it feels like Dirty Harry in The Gauntlet (obscure reference) with moto? Chica? Viagra? Tony Montana (stay well away from Tony)?
They will smell your newness like sharks in the water.

For they Playa, there are usually board members around #142 area. For some reason there seems a statistically higher number of Haitianas (never a bad thing).

Average Day: Breakfast, nap, beach, Dinner, PC/RT. Rinse and Repeat.

Not going to get into budget because you do you and I'll do me (and NEXT and LAST). As trips add up the budget gets lower since you realize it is not your job to subsidize the whole island. Everyone will ask for something, doesn't mean you have to give them it. No Gracias, NO Gracias, NO GRACIAS or even just completely ignore them.

Average cost: Been quoted up to 3,000 for ST. Never gone above 1,500 and even got a TLN once, prefer ST. Never got my offer turned down. Last trip was once quoted $800US, never bit because I couldn't stop laughing.

To finish off. One piece of advice that most will ignore, but I still feel is important. Don't get stupid drunk unless you are with someone who has your back. Even then, you can have more fun buzzed than smashed.

Final note: I've never done a TR but as Irie pointed out, this board is all about give and take. I've been given plenty and if even one person gets something from this then at least I have given something back.

I think every chica at RT has their eye on you, but little R keeps finding her way in there. Did she get you again last night?

Yup, got me again. She is very persuasive when she dances.

Re: 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

Another day on the beach with good people, and Seville.

Souvenir shopping (hate that because it means it's almost over). Looking for specific t-shirts in specific sizes and colours. Find one place and not quite right colour, wanted 400 pesos but went down to 300 since I was walking away.
Next place has one that I want but it's 960 pesos, goes looking for the other and comes back with the shirt from the other place for the bargain price of only 600 pesos.
Ended up with both for 600 pesos, not the original 1500 wanted. Only $40CAN for 2 t-shirts, how could that not be a deal to pass up.
Bargaining is part of the culture but be aware that there is the expectation of the stupid gringo. No need to be disrespectful, but no need to pay asking price, always be willing to walk away.
In NA the store price is non-negotiable, here not so much. Exception of proper retail stores obviously.

Rancho Tipico got hopping later on but still busy. Was Irie's last night so passed on the PC and got there earlier (he was late). Fun as always but strangely enough surrounded by 20 to 30 fine women and partying/dancing and I left alone (must be what an-expat feels like).

First week busy as a beaver, second week tranquillo. I've enjoyed the balance.

Re: 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

First bad session, pretty good average for the trip.

Not going to give a name because she has been well reviewed in past, may be YMMW, who knows.

Lesson learned: Trust your gut instinct.

Hot looks but felt no connection. Went on past reports, but things can change. Easily one of my most restrictive session ever, anywhere. How good is a hot body if you can't touch it anywhere.
Not a bad attitude, more like a not really there at that point in time. Think she figures she can get by on looks alone, that'll end some day.

Chemistry is key for me (note to self: remind the little head of that next time). First time I've ever been told no oral at all, still shaking my head. Would have been more fun to just flush the money down the toilet.

I know, interview, interview. My instinct hasn't let me down much, I just have hold that above all.

If you don't feel a connection, most likely they don't either. Lesson #1. Time to take remedial monger classes.

Re: 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

Best cure for a bad session? Try again.

Back to RT. Beer/dancing/watching. Busy place, completely full with overflow (weekend warriors can ignore this, PC is much better). No hip hop music at all.

Flying out today so decided to leave just past midnight, not a lot of single options that appealed as most of the hotter ones were brought in on the arm of someone.

Saying goodbye to the RT girls/dance partners, some I have known for 2 or 3 trips. One of the girls wants to come to my hotel!!

Give my number and leave. Sleeping when phone rings at 3:30 am. 10 minutes later, the fun begins, and it was truly fun.

Best session of the trip by far, worst to first in 24 hours, that's how you cure a bad session.

For Seville and Irie, it was not little R this time. Was the future ex-wife (sorry Seville, she's no longer virginally pure), you can give me shit next trip. I'm sure you will enjoy your turn.

Has Sosua changed from the past? Everything changes. I'm sure it will be changed for the next trip too.

For point and click mongers, the quality may be down and the aggressiveness is up. My best DR session was in Passions but in no way do I miss the place, she would have been the best session regardless of where she was found, I just found her there.

D'Latins did not look like any activity at all. Supposed to reopen, hope it doesn't. Too crowded, people get aggressive and unfriendly.

Only went to Classico's twice, pulled 2. One good, one not as good (papi leche?).

Beach was hit and miss, depending on the day. Still got a sore neck though. Seville has the most incredible chica radar I have ever seen.

Haitian Embassy was always busy, only pulled one time, was good but different (cross one off the bucket list). Very aggressive in Bar Central. Always be careful with your money and don't wear jewellery. Good times can be had, just take proper precautions.

To any rookies reading, I hope this can be of some guidance for your first time. To more experienced BM's, thank you for the guidance you have provided on the board and in person. I look forward to the next chapter.

Not odd at all. It was plainly obvious that our smooooth moves on the dance floor closed the deal!

Hey DV, did you get any pictures to prolong Seville's agony?
