Back for 2 more weeks. Staying at Victorian House, killer view. Decent room, no issues.
Parts of P.C. look like downtown Allepo/Beirut. Rumba and D'Latin took direct hits.
City lights is the new Rancho but is missing the original vibe, see if it grows on me....
2 nights and two girls, one old and one new, both good. Thankfully that part has not changed.
Always amazing how many people remember you, some are even genuine....
Beach appears quieter so far but that may be the weather. Missed the flooding but poured like a bandit Saturday night... just meant the ST went longer so not complaining.
    Off to the Beach!

Weather has been pretty good so far. Heartbreaking to hear how badly some people who have next to nothing have been affected by the floods.
Beach has been good, not busy but some decent scenery at times.
City lights is starting to grow on me.
Still happy with Victorian House, view has not gotten old yet.
Eaten at Bourbon Street and Brittania, both good but Brittania is a better value.

Sosua has changed a little but overall still good. First timers will still be able to have a good time but the locals are perfecting their pesos extracting techniques.

Beach has been good, town is still busy.

Yesterday the beach was quieter. Citylights was quieter. I was in a low profile mood night.

Bars are open until 3 from Thurs to Sat. Around 1 or so the girls in Citylights kick it up a gear on the dance floor. Whole mood of the place kicks up, helps we are right by the floor.

For a night of minimal drinking and night off from mongering it was a hella good night. Night off by choice, still had lots of options new and old.

    Re: 12/2014 - 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

Last night was the first night of serious rain, consider myself fortunate considering all that happened just before I arrived....
Still managed to travel around between cloud bursts, just got slightly damp at times.
Strip did not appear as busy, especially for a Saturday, guaranteed the weather played a big part in that.
Took a repeat from the night before, Jekyll and Hyde. This time was Hyde. Figure she wanted a quickie because I left earlier and she could run out and get another customer, still only 1500 pesos but last time was TLN at same time so still ahead of the game. Still something to keep in mind.
Stayed mostly in the room reading a book yesterday, weather was crappy. Beach is calling my name today, Dominican day though so likely quite day for mongers.
Was at Citylights and went to wander the strip for about an hour. Waitress put a reserved sign on the table. Came back and it was still reserved. Think I like this server......

Rainy days in Sosua can suck.

    No real updates.....

Town still reasonably busy, beach still there, weather still cooperating.

Still love the Waterview from VH. Most likely stay here again next time.

Only real action is still Citylights but looks like the sidewalk in front of Rumba is finally getting done.

    Re: 12/2014 - 15/11 to 30/11 - Boots on the Beach.

    Synopsis:

Room. Victorian House. Good place, good location. Liked almost everything. Only negative for me, old CRT TV's and very limited cable (rainy days).

Food. Ate at Britannia, Bourbon Street, Bailey's, La Costera, Rocky's and El Rancho. All were good.

Weather. Was very lucky considering the floods. Some heavy rains but only missed the beach on the last day.

Chicas. Some new, some old. All good. Lots of choice out there for everyone. Paid from 1500ST to 2500 TLN.

Nightlife. Mostly City Lights. Lots of girls, lots of activity but seemed like lower numbers of girls at times. Fortunately only need one at a time.

Overall. Meeting friends, sitting on the beach, drinking beer and getting chicas. Life is good.

Sosua has changed, Sosua will continue to change. So have/will I. End of the trip was spent mostly with one girl, cute girl with fantastic attitude and absolutely no drama.

Will be a while before next trip. But will return as long as the changes are not drastic.

I was surprised last night Christmas eve City Lights was open. A few less chicas but still the usual suspects. Good Christmas turkey today at Britannia

FYI, apparently Victorian House is shut right now. I don't have any other details.

Victorian House was a great stay, amazing view.

Booked back into D'Piero for 2 weeks in December. Looks like it might be a good choice if they migrate all the bars down P.C.

The countdown begins (damn long one though.... )
