    05/2015 - Chinese in Sosua

Chinese restaurant opening in the old Cuba Libre bar at the end of Pedro Clisante. Probably within two weeks.
    Enjoy it while you can.

So the British Pub with the butterflies on the walls did not work ?

    shocking..

Chinese Food, they got a Shot at least.. everyone gets hungry for Chinese Food..

Just keep it clean , and not so heavy on the MSG, and I'm there for at least 2 meals per trip....

Do they make a Good Hot and Sour soup, that is the question..

Most of the Chinese restaurants in Puerto Plata and Santiago serve all Dominican food. And the one on El Conde in Capital as well.

You mean "Chinese food" in POP means "platos tipicos - cooked by a Chinaman?"
    I'm still "Just A Lurker."

There is a Chinese Restaurant in Santiago on Calle Del Sol , near the monument , which serves some of the best authentic Chinese I ever tasted..

In fact some of the other customers looked down their Noses at me... like "who let this fucker in here"

The food was really GOOD.. the Chinese owner was walking around making sure everything was ok.

Pico Pollo in Mao has some bueno comida chino... Being from Brooklyn NY i'm a little spoiled with all food though... I can understand eating it out there if you're an expat but I rather eat tipico on vacation...

::::THIS IS NOT ON THE MENU::::

    But this is...

    Breakfast/brunch in Mao

Spaghetti, fried cheese, avacado, fried salami, mashed yuca...

    Yeah I love Dominican food!

Bailey's best breakfast in the Su' (YES, I ask for the eggs to be well done...)

And my favorite meal on the beach.... Mofongo King grilled Mero with garlic sauce on the side, yellow rice is a must, and the beans....

Sorry if I got a little carried away...

A good Chinese spot in sosua would be awesome. The place in charamicos in caribe just doesn't cut it. Although its not too bad.

If it was by classicos and rhumba they would do good i.m.o. if it was good and open very late.

If anybody is ever in Santiago going from the monument toward la vega. The is an excellent place on the same side of the street you would be driving. In the middle of the block. Always packed around lunch. Stopped bye there with Beas n Cam. But it was to crazy and we left.

From the outside I don't think you could tell it's a Chinese place.

I bet a buck it's gonna be a Chinese Pica Pollo.

Fried chicken, broiled chicken, pechurinas, tostones, papa frita, white rice, fried rice, locrio de guandules. Maybe some fried eggplant, cerdo, chicken liver and gizzards.

Bollitos de queso, bollitos de pollo. Maybe some fried fish.

I could probably tell you what order it will be laid out.

Ah happy memories of the White Castle knockoff burger joint and the pica pollo place before that on the site of Winners Circle. Location, location location.

The people with the restaurant in Cabarete didn't know anything about the new place in Sosua.
