    Ex-Pat Rates

Ex-Pats in the Dominican Republic have different types of relationships (I use the word relationship loosely) with semi & non pros. The paradigm used will depend on both parties how much the ex-pat wants to give and how much the chica is willing to receive.

In my case I had several women some I know get 4kTLN and one who claimed she got 5-6kTLN give me 2kTLN. IMHO I can see paying the price of admission when I first meet a chica as long as it is not unreasonable, however it makes no sense to give a regular who is supposed to be your "friend-and I use that term loosely" 3 or 4k if you are going to see her regularly. IMHO there should be some benefit to our having an understanding that when times are low for her as long as I am not occupied I can give her an agreed upon amount.

The difference is the tourist is in country for a short time whereas the ex-pat lives in country, in theory the ex-pat is more available and has the potential to provide a more consistent source of income. In addition a couple of the chics have got in a jam and I have helped them, it has never been more than 1k but we have an implicit understanding you look out for me and I will look out for you.

I disagree. Rather than the reason for their poverty I believe that this type of thinking may be a direct result of their poverty. They live their entire lives in debt from the moment they're born just as their Parent(s) did owing money to the colmado, to their hairdresser, to their friends and family and to just about everyone they know. I have never ceased to be fascinated at how many Dominicanas will drink out of a single bottle of Presidente that we may buy for one of them. There's no shame, they'll line up right in front of you and wait for their swig, knowing that some point it was the Chica you bought the drink for who was standing in line when they ere the ones gifted a bottle.

They don't think in terms of 5 or 10 years down the road because they don't believe in 5 or 10 years down the road. They don't believe in next year or the month after next because their lives are an endless stack of wooden nickels with no promise gone unbroken and no dream un-shattered. Trying to apply 1st world values to People stuck in a 3rd world reality is like comparing lions to vultures. The vultures don't eat guts and skin and marrow because they like it. They eat it because that's all that's left.

    Re: 08/2015 - Camaro’s Journal Part #1 -2015

I am ready to start fresh

I'll be going home next week to spend time with family and friends for my birthday. When I return I want to start fresh so I have deleted most of my chica contacts in my whatsapp. My 8000 pesos chica was one of the chica contacts that got deleted so when she wrote me I had no idea who she was since she didn't have a whatsapp photo displayed.

I know I know many of you will say I shouldn't do this but I decided to try and get in her head anyways...

Ok so she says she's going to erase me but she keeps talking and I'm thinking WTF?

So if she comes to Puerto Plata from Santo Domingo she wants 8000 pesos but if I am in Santo Domingo she wants 4000 pesos. This is the same chic that 2 years ago I was with for 1500 pesos and the sex wasn't that great...I am thinking to myself "REALLY????"

So she never answers my question "what would you do if you were a man?" your guess is as good as mine...

I won't bore you with the rest of the conversation but she keeps trying to get it in and when she realizes I am not budging she finally deletes my number. I have seen photos with her at resorts so obviously somebody is giving her those types of figures but I won't be one of them...

    Girimbao Bar -718

El Rey is part owner of Girmbao Bar-718 in Puerto Plata. The venue was formally Girimbao Bar located off the Malecon next to the CESTUR-POLITUR station down the street from La Sirena. I attended the grand opening and it was interesting for me to say the least. First it's a small venue with an occupancy of less than 75 but it has a nice ambiance.

When you arrive security pats you down you enter there is a bar with seating turn right and there are a couple tables with stools and several couches along the wall. The music is a mix of hip hop and Latin music and there were 3 waitresses and 2 bar maids. The crowd ebbed and flowed it looks like it will be a mix of locals and tourist. For now the hours of operation will be 6pm - 5am 7 days a week however there might be changes going forward.

The night begins very interestingly with Chica#1 who walks in with a client. I met her at Kviar we had 2 sessions with very good sex but she is married with a husband in New York and she was reluctant to give me ex-pat rates so she was dismissed and I deleted her whatsapp. She absolutely ignored me and hurt my feelings...ROTFL!

Then there was Chica#2, I do not remember where I met her but my Facebook says we have been friends for over 2 years. I remember chatting with her on whatsapp in reference to an upcoming trip before I retired and she wanted 3500 pesos for 2 hours, I don't need to tell you my response and I deleted her whatsapp. When I saw her she absolutely ignored me and hurt my feelings...ROTFL!

Next was Chica#3 who was a referral in one of my Puerto Plata networks our session was mediocre at best so I deleted her whatsapp also.

Then Chica#4 shows up she is a low key Puerto Plata- Sosua PFP chica but mostly does dates like resorts but really doesn't work the streets much. We were together before and the sex was great. We were supposed to get together a second time but she reneged and for some unknown reason to me subsequently deleted my whatsapp so I responded in kind.

So its #3's birthday and she is DRUNK AS A SKUNK but #4 wants to take #3 to Kviar to continue celebrating but there is not enough room on her pasola because she had some other passengers. #4 begs me to take #3 to Kviar I reluctantly agree. So #3 is in my vehicle and I am thinking DAYMN I hope this chic doesn't throw up! What does she do she wants to go by her house to change shoes. When I arrive I can't leave her because she left her phone in my car...CONYASO!

We arrive at Kviar and what does she say? She wants me to escort her inside...REALLY????....GTFOOHWTBS! I have several possibilities at Kviar one of which works there and the last thing I want to do is show up with some DRUNK SKUNK! So she wont get out of my vehicle can you say "CONYASO!" So she ask for 200 pesos entry fee to Kviar I give her the money she gets out and I speed off like a bat out of hell.

I was sooooooooooooo glad to get in my bed solo I could scream...LOL! Needless to say I need to up my game in Puerto Plata.

Girumbao Bar-718 is a nice spot and only 10 minutes from my place so I shall return.

As of November 1st Tancho Tipico was still closed...

I happened to be on the east end of Pedro Clisante the other day so I took photos of Rancho Tipico which is closed.

    Kviar Update

I still enjoy Kviar but my biggest complaint remains that often there are too many dudes in the joint! Despite that fact there are a few regulars that frequent Kviar that are on my bucket list. Kviar is like Classicos sometimes I go simply to enjoy the show.

The other night I was there one of the lower level chics approached me and asked "porque tu estas solo?" and I said "estoy solo mirando ahora mismo" and she says " quieres pasar tiempo conmigo?" and I asked "cuantos tu quieres?" she said "cien dolares" I looked at her like she was stupid and she says "en pesos cuatro mil" and I said "todo bien estoy solo mirando" then she says "cuantos tu quieres pagar?" I said again "estoy solo mirando" then she says with a pleading look on her face "dos mil pesos?" I shook my head no and she walked away from me.

I don't know about paying 4000pesos but I have seen a few in Kviar I might pay premium for.

    Friends Place, Calle Principal Cabarette

Yayow and I had lunch at Friends Place in Cabarette I'll let him tell the rest of that story. Friends Place is one of my favorite Cabarette restaurants the food and service is always great and it's right on the main street so you can watch the foot traffic.

I had the garlic fish with sautéed potatoes it was very good

The highlight of Friends Place are their baked goods. They have croissants, cupcakes etc. I had the carrot cake which was delicious. Imagine traveling all the way to the Dominican Republic for some of the best carrot cake you ever tasted.

    Chez Mon Real Restaurant, Sosua

I met XMan and Tiger at Chez Mon Real Restaurant on the corner of Pedro Clisante and Dr Rosen. IMHO the best thing about the restaurant is the view because you can watch the street traffic with the chicas walking to and fro. The food is generally expensive by Dominican Republic standards. My pasta meal was 700pesos where as at other restaurants I have had the same for less than 300 pesos.

It was good to see XMan again and to finally meet Tiger.

It's possible but kind of a pain, even if you figure it out, you'll want to wait till you get home and load the pics to your pc. Loading them here is not
hard tho, all you have to do to load them to your albums is.... don't use the mobile version, when you go into the board, scroll down to the bottom,
you'll see 3 buttons, log out/ full site/ top click on 'full site' and follow the same steps you would on your pc. after you load a pic to album, click on pic,
click and hold the bbcode, now you'll see about 5 buttons above (depending on device) click on the one that says (copy) then just click and hold on the
message space where you want to add the pic and select (paste). Good luck.

    Playa Boca Chica

I did my due diligence and spent some time with NiteStallion since this was his first Dominican Republic mongering excursion and I was glad for the opportunity to help the young Jedi along.

My first extended stay in the Dominican Republic is drawing to a close so I decided to depart from Las Americas Airport outside Boca Chica. I headed south and got caught in heavy rains around Santiago but made it safely to Boca Chica. It was fascinating to me to see people in the water during a thunder storm but all I could say was "bienvenidos a La Republica Dominicana!"

    Hotel Don Michele, Boca Chica

Hotel Don Michele is on Calle Duarte in Boca Chica the front of the hotel faces the street and the rear faces Playa Boca Chica. I appreciate Yayow for assisting me with the reservation. The hotel has a bar sitting area and restaurant. My first night I stayed in a basic room which was clean however there was no television. I checked some of the other basic rooms and discovered they had no televisions either.

My last 2 nights I stayed in a balcony room which was much larger with a television and had a balcony vista view of Playa Boca Chica.

The hotel staff was very attentive and there were a couple of decent bar maids on staff. I used my Orange hotspot so I cannot speak about the hotel WIFI. There is a flat screen television over the bar and sometimes they view YouTube videos and sometimes the news. Security takes the chicas cedula and keeps it until she leaves the property.

The biggest advantage is the hotels location, it is steps away from both El Batey and the Piano Bar and most everything on Calle Duarte is accessible on foot.

    Gusto Tropical, Boca Chica

Gusto Tropical is a bar-restaurant that is next door to Hotel Don Michele. The front faces Calle Duarte and the rear faces Playa Boca Chica.

The waitresses are available for a 1000 pesos salida and whatever you negotiate individually with the chica.
