This trip was different because it was one of the first times I have seen motos racing on Hwy 1. It's normal to see them racing on city streets and side roads but darting in and out of traffic that is driving at highway speeds can be very dangerous.

There was an accident with a burnt out vehicle on Hwy 1 just north of Santo Domingo. I enjoy the drive because it is generally an uneventful ride but I continue to be mindful that driving in the Dominican Republic can be dangerous.

Wait till you see them racing on the 6 de Nov. highway. Big, BIG money being bet on those. We're talking 100K and up on a single race.

    Arco Dorado Cabana, San Cristobal

San Cristobal is very limited in its lodging options as of yet I know of no decent hotels in the immediate area which only leaves cabanas as a lodging option for me on this visit. Arco Dorado Cabana is on the main Autopista that runs through town but I do not recall the name. I met Ms. San Cristobal #1 and we went to the cabana.

This cabana was definitely different from what I am accustomed to in Puerto Plata, the first room was horrible and like a matchbox, the second the TV did not work so we eneded up in the 3rd which locked us in because the garage door would not open in the morning. The air-conditioner only had 1 setting COLD and I ended up getting sick.

Then they were stingy with the towels, instead of giving us body towels they give us ...

...hand towels...uhmmm lyke REALLY? So what am I supposed to do with this other than wash my face????

Of course no cabana is complete without a KAMA SUTRA guide on the wall

My chica got a kick out of it and she even took her own photos. The menu only included a few items like sandwhiches and was no where near as diverse as I am accoustombed to. What does my chica do she eats her food and my food too I guess some things are the same cross culturally...ROTFL! Then she turns on the porn channel...uhmmm lyke yeah! I enjoy sex with her and she's really cool people.

In the morning maintenance has to climb through a little window because the garage door won't open he fixed it and I escaped the cabana from hell!...lol.

    Angora Mall, Santo Domingo

After leaving San Cristobal I spent some time in Santo Domingo. I met several chicas on Dominican Cupid and one stood out above the rest as a woman with integrity who refused to come to Puerto Plata or to meet me in private, she insisted on meeting in a public place which turned out to be Angora Mall.

I had been past the mall several times but this was my first time inside and I was pleasantly surprised because it was the nicest mall I have been in since I have been in the Dominican Republic. The mall is humongous and it's easy to get lost.

When I saw Krispy Kreme Doughnuts I realized at that moment that I never have to return to the United States again ever in life. I absolutely love Krispy Kreme especially right out the oven...que rico! I absolutely had to have a couple, a little taste of home was nice.

My date was excellent! It was a lunch date and she shows up and guess what she did before she arrived?...she ate lunch. She wouldn't drink anything but water and when I tried to offer her taxi money she refused to take it. Spending time with her was like a breath of fresh air. She's really a good girl though and I don't know how practical a relationship would be but I remain open.

Parrillada Malecon 7 Resturante, Santo Domingo

I was looking on an apartment web site for a place to stay and I called for directions and spoke with a young lady who said she was no longer working for the company. I later received a whatsapp message from the same person apologizing for not being able to help me but when I looked at her whatsapp photo it was on and poppin! I chatted her up and she agreed to meet me.

This chic came from San Cristobal on her own dime to meet somebody she met by accident on whatsapp. She was familiar with the area where I was so she suggested we go to Parrillada Malecon 7 which is on the east end of Avenida George Washington.

The view was great I enjoyed the breeze and listening to the waves crash against the rocks.

It is an open air restaurant with a covered section and an outdoor section.

The food was decent but it was the typical tourist prices I spent 1500 pesos on food and drinks for 2.

Ms. San Cristobal 2 was very shy and reserved and I did most of the talking. After a while she got warmed up and showed me some bikini pics that got me quite excited. After we were finished eating we returned to where I parked my car and I discovered what appeared to be a brand new shiny vehicle. Apparently the parking attendants hustle was washing the parked cars, this is the first time I ever had anything like that happen to me so I gave him 200 pesos and we were off.

Ms. San Cristobal 2 appears to be a good girl so I offer to pay her cab to the parada de gua gua so she can return to San Cristobal but she insist I drive her so I can save the 200 pesos for the taxi...awwwwwwwwwww isn't that sweet! I dropped her off but when she gets home her demeanor changes and she is much more warm than in person I suspect she is just shy, regardless I enjoyed her and will try to see her again.

Avoiding the drive through window is a major effort for me. They frequently will hand you one to eat while they are picking your order. Same think if you're inside.

    One of my favorite sites...

One of my favorite sites driving to and from Santo Domingo from Santiago is the Army Base it looks very impressive as I drive by.

The break from the North Coast was great I met 2 good girls one off Dominican Cupid and one by accident both were a refreshing change of pace from 2 mil por una hora.

I also met a chic from Dominican Cupid who when we were together got drunk after drinking 4 large Presidentes, after I smashed she went into all her problems. While drunk she ask me where she was going to stay if she comes to Puerto Plata and of course I said with me then she popped the REAL QUESTION...she ask me where her 1 month daughter was going to sleep...WHAT?...GTFOOHWTBS! Needless to say she was dismissed and has been blowing my phone up wondering why I won't return her call...uhmmmm lyke durahhh?

Overall is was a GREAT trip and I plan to try to do 1 or 2 a month to break the North Coast monotony.

    Tenga Cuidado

I have another bad report on a Sosua regular. It is reported in another monger group that she up-charges after sex and she also carries a gun in her purse. I have never taken her before but have talked to her several times and she seemed to be nice but very business and "about her paper." She was on my bucket list but now I think I will pass. Of course as always play at your own risk...

Camaro where did you say you were going to be during this super bowl week? I just realized from Facebook that a year ago today I was in Sosua during Super Bowl. It was raining like crazy out there, but it was still packed with both guys and many of the top girls that visit Sosua.

    Trip to Las Terrenace

I didn't want to be any where near Sosua during the Super-Bowl so I took that time to make an excursion to Las Terrenace and Samana as well as meet Bailar. When I started mt trip I almost headed toward Santiago - Santo Domingo because that is the way I usually travel but I caught myself and headed east instead of south. I don't particularly care for driving through Gasper Hernandez because you have to drive through the city and that slows you down. I prefer highway driving and opposed to stop and go city traffic.

For a minute I thought I was going to get stampeded but I was spared getting hoofed to death...lol!

When driving to Las Terrenace Nagua is a great sight to see because it means you are less than an hour away.

    Toll Road Samana

On the other side of the below pictured toll gate there is a toll road into Samana ...guess how much the toll is?...wait for it?...yesssssur 500 pesos...CONYO!

The view of the toll road is similar to the toll road from Nagua to Santo Domingo with the same rock & mountain views the primary difference is that the Samana road has more hills and curves as well as having a view of the sea.

Given the tolls on the Samana-Santo Domingo HWY, I'm surprised the toll was not 502 pesos Nice photos by the way!

Hotel El Rincon de Abi, Las Terrenace

I booked Hotel El Rincon de Abi off the internet. The hotel was on a narrow dirt road off the main drag in the tourist part of Las Terrenace it's only a short walk to the beach from the hotel.

The room was clean and small, it had a ceiling fan but no air-conditioning but it was still comfortable during the day and night. There was a small flat screen TV I did not use and the WIFI worked really well. There was a room safe in the closet however I did not use it since I have a lock on my bag.

The hotel owners are French and it appeared as if all the residents were European, I saw no one who looked like a monger mostly older couples. There was no security at night just a electronic gate you are give an electronic key for.

    Playa Punta Poppi, Las Terrenace

I met Bailar at Mojitos Restaurant on Playa Punta Poppi and a chic sat down and talked to us. She acted really familiar so I thought she knew Bailar but she was just trying to solicit drinks. When we refused she got an attitude and stormed off, that was the first time I had a chic be that bold and sit at a table un-invited.

The beach was pretty tranquil and I enjoyed the breeze.

    La Bodega, Las Terrenace

La Bodega is the premier night spot in Las Terrenace. It is a combination of bar, tourist hang out , dance hall and PFP venue. Generally tourist and couples are sitting, there is a dance floor for dancing to Latin music and the area by the bar is where most of the PFP ladies congregate. When Bailar walked in it was like me walking in Classicos with the attention he was receiving from the chicas.

I got a chance to see Bailar bailando and now I know why he picked that name, there is no way I could keep up with him. He had a nice looking chica but I wasn't sure if I was going to pull. I saw a flaca sitting behind me that gave me a smile but I didn't pay her much more attention. Later another chic gave me a napkin which I thought was trash until she told me the chic that smiled at me wrote her number on the napkin for me. I looked around and she was gone.

A few moments later who was standing next to me? Yesssssur it was the chica who passed the note. We hit it off and she turned out to be a snuggle queen in the bed, she was very affectionate it was like she was a real girlfriend. I enjoyed the change of pace she was obviously working but I didn't feel like she was a prostitute...BRAVO!
