BARRIO LOS PEPINOS. The locals have two sections of Los PePinos the refer too. UPPER AND LOWER. Its is seconds from the monument area. Calle vincente Estrella runs paralel to calle de sol. This street has many hidden gems at dominican prices! I fucked local girls for 1000 pesos st without any hesitation. On friday nights Calle vincnete Estrella streets are lined with chairs as the working class domincans drinks and listen to much.

This Bar doesnt have a name. However, its a great place to relax. Its one of the few Dominican Places I have been to that doesnt blast the music. I was even able to have them stream the knicks games for me. Mostly Local spirits. Also, in the Upper On calle Vincente Estrella. Seats are not the most comfortable. But great for local for people watching.

Another spot on Calle Vincente Estrella... These places are all busy friday night. Many have nice sitting areas. They are not your average colmado.

    CASA BADER.............

I like old places and learning the history. I never really how much History Santiago has. I came across this place and spoke with many people inside, as well as googled it. I believe the bar is over 100 years old. Great place to have a cold one a mingle with some higher class dominicans.

Eddificio Eddy Reyes They were great to me. Many people live here but there are also fully furnished apartment for rent. for a two bedroom apartment is 1000 a night. I stayed 19 nights then another 9 3 weeks later. I paid 800 a night and 900 a night. I would go days without paying and hey would just say, its ok pay when your leaving. They were really good people there. Both times I never knew how long I would be and they worked with me. They owner is a Dom York.

    Re: Various Places in Santiago...

This is the corner Of Calle Vincente Estrella Y Santome.

Even the cop sat down for a game of dominoes this night. There is always the same group of men out. They drink and play there dominoes, They have always been friendly and never ask for anything. One of them ones the lottery place and the barbershop. They are many working class women around. But Also tons of young girls more than eager to meet up. However they all move very secretively. Having a car made it very easy to move around the neighborhood all day.

I spent a day with a guy who is on Santome day and night. He introduced me to everybody. His phone was blowing every place we left with girls asking to hook me up with them. Usually a few drinks and 1000 pesos was more than enough.

In Alberto Suites you can now do short stay for 300 pesos. It was perfect.
