Was a few decent ones worth grabbing whilst sitting therthereped into an old friend and pulled the trigger 3500 for the night. Drove back towards pop and stopped at fods

So Field of Dreams is still hangin' in there. That's good to hear. I've enjoyed a couple of stays at that place ... the only thing is, if you go to bed early (for any reason), you'd better have a high tolerance for the bar music or a highly-effective pair of ear plugs. (The 3M Tekk earplugs seem to do the job for me.)

Been enjoying things for a while we drove to Las Terrenas just the drive through the mountains to get there can make one fall in love with the country. But it is a long drive through a few towns and you can get held up a bit by traffic. I stayed at Hotel Playa Caribe for $55 a night not bad I think.

That's insane one can't return MIA, POP for less then 500 in low season. Now STI arrival and return, that's a different story...

If you have not already done so.. you need to check out La Dolce Vita restaurant..

    hope this link works.

    https://www.google.com/maps/uv?hl=en...YMBpUQoioIfTAK

Everything on the Menu is off the charts good.. and i mean everything.
Possibly some of the finest food I have had in the entire Dom Republic.. for that price point.

from where you are Bdaman, i think you can walk to it. cant recall exactly but im sure its right there .

Quick question... What is the best cheap phone in Sosua right now? Or is the SIM card the better way to go on my Galaxy 6?
Rent it, Don't buy it! There's no warranty.

no need to buy a phone, just get a sim for Claro.

I would gladly pay 1000$cdn (782us) to fly direct from Calgary to Pop. even 1300$ but always have a layover in Toronto. Ive heard about direct flights with charter services. but im not staying all incl. i like the New Garden top floor with a view. Hope some day the dollar will be even again so i can party like a rock star instead of cheapy cheapy jean filipe.

Some of those charters may have an "airfare only" option.
