Every place else rolls up the f'ing sidewalks.

Boston has good beans and chowda and Philly has good cheese steak, period....and don't be getting hungry at 3am.

Midtown Manhattan has 50 cent slices bigger than the whole effing pie in Philly.

    Me too.

I took a quart of chicken broth, quartered a couple small tomatoes and added them, added 1/2 pint of well cooked brown rice and 1/4 pint of spinach, 1/2 cup of green beans, red chili, black pepper and sea salt and let it simmer down into a mana from heaven.

I only eat like shit when I travel.

It is a rare Woman, indeed who is allowed to cook for me. Fucking is good but nourishment is essential.

Ugali, Sukuma Wiki, Nyama Choma, Githeri, Matoke, Irio, Pilau, Chapati, Bajia, Mandazi, Mutura....there is a Woman in Kenya who could cook for me until I die from the flayva. Sex is great but the food.....

Last time I stayed at the Intercontinental Times Square. There were 3 all night pizza shops in a 2 block walk.

    Re: pizza ...

AOL Mail just spammed me with this bit about a Yonkers pizza place and its "Super Slice." It appears to be a two-foot slice out of a four-foot-diameter pizza, and it seems to fit Greydread's description of "a slice as big as a whole pie" ...

    I'm still "Just A Lurker."

Forgive me if I speak of NY pizza with a certain reverence. I was raised on it and it made me the man I am today, built on pizza. Also the Manhattan deli experience is not to be taken for granted. I can take you to Washington Square and introduce you to a cheesecake that is better than sex. New York is the food capital of the world, hands down and if I hadn't left there some 43 years ago I'd either be dead or 300+ pounds and waiting to die.

It's too easy not to know how to cook in that place. I'm glad that I left. I now eat healthy and cook most of my own food because my choices are that limited.

    I disagree.

Casas are an essential component to Dominican culture and especially in the case of the novice tourist to Latin America who may not be fluent in the language or the dialect as they offer an advocacy in the P4P trade and bad behavior on the part of providers, reported to the casa management usually results in corrective action or expulsion of players who refuse to play the game on the square.

That would depend upon one's personal choice in the matter of "best value" over "lowest cost".

Its interesting how the same girl will come over for 1,000 because the house keeps most of it.

We are well aware of the disparities but the house is taking profit based upon the service and assurety which they provide. One can meet a Ho on a dimly lit street corner and take her back to your room for 1,000 pesos and take your chances on her not being a total maniac or a scammer or one can meet a similar Ho in a casa de cita and hold the management accountable for the actions of their employee. Like I said, it's a matter of personal choice.

In the Capital, we had the casa chicas stop by at 8am before they went to work. We got great service and were second of the day.

The casas are an entry point. Once established, the Ho's branch out as independents. Nothing wrong with that.
