    Re: High Caribbean Disco

This will not be just another Haitiana place

True it will likely be heavy with the Haitain beauties but I was told the goal this time around is hire approximately 20 each of Haitain as well as Dominican girls this time.

For one of the interview days which I happened to be around for there was about 40 girls who showed up looking for work and it was about half and half

And there is alot of interest for work there but I am sure is always the case when a new opportunity comes about.

They will need lots of girls as the turnover rate tends to be high for a variety of reasons.

and there were some pretty good looking chicas that applied

I must say it was not what I would normally expect to see at a mass job interview

There was dancing and limbo and of course booty shaking

An interesting sight to behold for sure

Not all of the girls will get hired for there waitress skills

I think some will be doing alot of dancing
I am the pussy licker Let's have some fun. Not invisible. Snitches are pathetic little people!

Re: 05/2017 - High Caribbean Disco

Here's the thing, if this place winds up drawing the kind of crowd that the authorities assume it will, and all or nearly all the usual chicas that have hung around the Strip for years, and the new one's who arrive, all migrate down to the new joint, then will the authorities even have to bother with closing the other "whore" bars if there are no whores, or very few, hanging around?

If places like Sonda Bar and that German bar/restaurant next door to Central, and maybe even Central itself, only have an expat crowd with mostly older European dudes, maybe or maybe not with the old lady in tow, and are just there for a few beers and watch the soccer match or listen to the classic tunes, what purpose would be served to close them down?

Even we Americans who love our football, the real kind, like to go to a bar to watch our teams battle it out without interruption by some chica nonsense. "Bitch.....get me another beer and STFU!"

    Opening High Caribbean disco postponed

The three managers of the High Caribbean disco, which is now being renovated, unfortunately had to decide to postpone the announced grand opening on May 11th. Ad, Peter and Mark want everything to be perfect at the opening. But there have occurred a few delays. Some supplies as lighting and furniture have not yet arrived from the USA. Furthermore, on the renovation work also occurred some delay because the workers have discovered hidden defects. These should be repaired first. So for now the date of the opening is not yet known. This depends on when the items are shipped from the USA and how quickly the defects can be repaired.

    Staff wanted for High Caribbean

    We will keep you informed.

When this place was open, the other places were ghost towns.

Re: 05/2017 - High Caribbean Disco

My Wing and I will be in town for 7-10 days in mid July. Regardless of minor delays, we anticipate, with Great Interest!! the prospect of this new venue. It looks to be an excellent option.

We will be at Cafe Vallaria and do not do motos! I am early 60's after all! So I assume there will be taxis around form th main PC area to that end of town.

My wing and I will actually be looking to lock down a reliable cab driver for full time availablity day and night. We expect to be heading to PP often, as we have a lot of prospects mined off Tagged that plan to visit us at the hotel sometimes after work at 10:00-11:00 P. We may visit them as well. There have been many offers to visit, but we well know, you DO NOT GO a strange neighborhood in the DR without transportation right there waiting!! So we want somebody waiting!

Does anybody have a reference or a suggestion? And what is the deal with the taxi mafia?

    Thanks.

When I started going in 2004 Merengue Bar was always packed and so what whatever it was called, Sosua Life perhaps, where Bourbon Street is now. The whole strip was rocking!

In 1997 it was open and I went once but it was empty.

Not really but they don't have to get along all that well anyway.

But if they want a job than they need to coexist

I think that is one of the reasons (there are several) that turnover is and will be so high there

The reality is that some are hired to actually work and provide what would be considered normal camarera services and others are hired to dance
and we all know there are some hired for other reasons

It's no secret that many of those girls don't last to long because they are taken off the market

If you have hung out at Ranchi Tipico and City Lights you will notice there are a few specific girls that do the bulk of the camarera services and others that are kinda just there.

Ad wants a variety of chicas to work there and if they don't work to his satisfaction they won't be there to long.

But there will always be a long list of chicas that will give the place a try.

With the supply of men visiting Sosua ever dwindling the competition the men is fierce as ever and the number of chicas that go home without a date every night is ever increasing and as a camarera they have a captive audience.

It will be interesting to see how it all works out for many of them since they are planning to stay open until 6am which is going to eliminate an awful lot of potential suitors

How can they stay open until 6 a.m.? I thought that only casino and hotel bars are allowed to stay open past the normal closing hours.

    .
Not exactly sure but I think it might have something to do with where they are located. The earlier closing times seem to only apply to a specific area of Sosua.

If you go to Cabarete those bars are not not subject to the earlier closing times

Ad told me point blank that he has agreements that will allow him to stay open and he has little fear of getting shut down again.

But he does seem to think he is somewhat bullet proof against the powers that be.

I guess we will see how it all plays out

Yes there are but part of the appeal of places like Sosua and Boca is that even though it is a fishbowl for us it is also a fishbowl for them to and makes for very easy pickens for them.

Not to many other places they can go and score the easy payday like they can in Sosua and Boca
