What, no Hotel Voramar? Some of the best food in town is served there. The German guy who was the chef at Orchidee for what must have been 20 years or so, when he called it quits there, the mgmt at Voramar hired him and the quality, presentation, and value, for the food are top shelf.

Thats a once a week stop for me when in town.

I'll be doing a part 2 in 2023 don't want the videos to be too long, keep recomendations coming.

I also enjoy Elephante and Nelsons and Hispaniola Diners Club serves some good food as well.

I won't patronize King's due to how the owner treats his female staff.

I never tried the Diners club, will add it to my 2023 places as well as the others.

That's the place. He did a large renovation in May this year to add some seating and upgrade it a little. Was closed for a week or so to get it done.

the food and prices are good there but I won't eat there. Go by there in the early morning and look at the cockroaches swarming those two grilles out front,you'll gag. Why they wait to clean the grilles until the following day is beyond me.

That place and the small cafeteria just a bit back up the street toward the Strip, despite the various prepared foods looking nice to look at, I ate their once, the white rice with stewed meat, which although tasted good, I was soon making my way on a moto back to the room before that train rumbling in my gut was about to explode!

Luckily I made it in time, just barely. Haven't ate at either place ever again.

Oh yummy,lol. the truth is that the heat those grills produce will killl anything harmful but just the sight of it keeps me away.

I saw yesterday that at least now they are covering the grills in plastic when they’re not open. I’m sure the bugs are still there, but now they’re somewhat hidden.

Especially if they light up the grill without removing the plastic first.

I can’t seem to remember how to post pics. It’s been a couple years. If I remember right it is a bitch to get the pics from iPhoto the Isoc albums.

i tried to download a few pics today and unless there is a an easier way…………..

i am pushing 70 now so that probably explains it.
