    Question about the DR curfew?

I want to know how the mongering scene is nowadays in the DR in light of the curfew that went into effect last year (i.e., places serving liquor closing at midnight Sun thru Thurs and 2am Fri thru Sat). I'm particularly interested in how this has affected the action on the North Coast (Puetro Plata and Sosua). The last time I was in the country was last November in STI and that was the first time I had to deal with the curfew -- it sucked!!! I would appreciate hearing how guys have been dealing with the p4p places closing down so early, particularly on the north coast. Are there any options for find chicas after midnight (S-Th) and 2am (F-Sa)?

Thanks in advance for any input.

    Bam

In Sosua the actual closing times are 1am (Sun-Thurs) and 2am Fri & Sat.

There are details in many trip reports, but IMHO, as closing time approaches, it's a "buyers market!".

And FYI, suppossedly the casino discos (including the one in Sosua) are not included in the early closing times laws, so they have effectively become "after-hours clubs".

    Enjoy your trip.
