    Fuck Continental.

I had to make a switch in plans and it cost $100.00.

To add insult to injury the fare also went up $40.00.

So my $360.90 plane fare cost me $500.90.

    Oh well

Try flying from Tampa, Florida, $600 min with a layover in Miami or San Juan (~5 hour trip). Sure there are NetSavers but I can't use them with the short notice.

Ironically when Jet Blue was having a sale it would have been $120 cheaper to fly Tampa - NY - DR but the total flight and layover was 12+ hours and a overnight in NY on the way back.

Best part I did a favor for one of the VPs at work, now I'm flying for $80 (taxes) First Class courtesy of his AA Miles.

About 750 hours until I smile for 9 days.

    Flying from Tampa

I have flown from Tampa, but now I find it better to drive to Miami. This rules out the long wait for the connection at Miami, especially on the way back. You can park in Miami for $5 and may get home earlier than if you flew via Tampa. The fare is about $100 less round trip from Miami. Of course if you live north of Tampa, this may not work for you. I live south of Tampa.

Depending on what night, it might have been a layover in NY to remember!

I could've gotten it for $360.90 as well but my procrastinating behind waited too long and I wound up having to pay the extra $40. Oh well. At least it's one straight shot from Newark.

I usually go for 9 days Sat-Sun (planned week long vacations). MIA is an easy 5 hour trip for me door to door since my car screams "I'M SPEEDING" so I have to watch my speed. $45 in parking + $60 in gas (20 mpg even on the hwy) is $110 w/tolls.

You need to meet me first Jimmy, not only is my sign Leo I look like a LEO! (in more ways then one) Clean cut Irish lad from Chicago what else would you expect.

But I ensure you I am just a computer geek.

I practically need a needle sticking out my arm to get a proper lap dance in Tampa.

    See you in 31 days!

Many plan connections in NY these days. Soon there will be underground parties, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Nice way to kill 12 hours.

For you Tampa guys, heres a deal. Visit www.vacationexpress.com non stop air from Orlando (Sanford) is 360.00 r/t , heres the deal flies only Mon and Fri so you can go for 3 4 or 7 days. When you click airfare it includes flight insurance when clicking continue, you uncheck the insurance block and it knoks 70 dollars off the airfare.

There is a dayly charter flight from the Sanford airport nonstop to POP. The price was $500 and it is nonstop (sanford is north of orlando) I got that price and I only booked the ticket 10 days ahead.

Vacationexpress is cheap from ATL too. The only problem is they are seasonal to POP. So after August you can only fly to Punta Cana. Believe me....you much rather be in POP/Sousa
