...and maintain your cool, no matter how excited you are about the chica. If you're cool, and know a little of the language, you can get whatever you want at a "discounted" rate. Don't let the chica know that you are overly excited about her, even though you are!!

In June of this year I paid 2500 (including salida) for a stunning 20 y/o for TLN. That was after negotiation that begun at 5000 + 1000 salida. She was the only chica I ever took out of cristals, although I've been there several other times.

In in Sosua now and have paid 1000 ST (2hr - Cheerleader story...report to follow), and 1,500 TLN (sister story......report to follow).

I'm heading to POP tomorrow for the last 5 days of this trip and will check out Cristals again.

Getting a girl's number from a DR whore house so you can meet her away from the club is always cheaper. I never liked the idea of paying the house money

I was at Crystals a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't impressed with any of the chicas there and felt the whole place had a very tired and run down air about it. Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder of course, but I thought some of the dancers were outrageously fat (and I like a well built woman!).

I went along with a couple of girls from Blackbeards (Nelsi and Julie from the bar) and they seemed way better looking than any of the Crystals girls that night. I had to pay to take them in though, 600 pesos in total I think (I know! I know! coals to Newcastle or whatever but it's a long story).

The selection at Blackbeards, or the average disco in Sosua, on any of my four trips to the DR has always been way better than what I saw that night.

OK. To give you the whole story, we arrived in a cab went in and I was asked for 600 pesos. It is pretty normal in Europe to have to pay entry to a club and taxi kickbacks are also common so I didn't think anything of it. It was only once we were in the club that the girls explained to me that the charge had been for them to get in. That struck me as odd as if anyone gets in free where I come from it is usually the girls. But I was at the bar by then so I wasn't going to go back and argue about it for such a small amount.

So no, I don't think guys have to pay. Incidentally, unlike most clubs of this type in Europe, the drinks prices seemed quite reasonable, and the girls I where with closely scrutinised the accuracy of my bill and change (very typical of the better BBs girls that).

However, another thing that I found odd about the place was that they were doing karoke between dancers (which was why the girls wanted to go there in the first place).

I just noticed that you said that you went with Julie from the bar at BB's. Do you mean David's daughter Julie? I didn't think she was allowed to go out with the guys there. I tried to hit that my first trip there and was told she was off limits.

Was in Cristals last Thursday. Set up a date with a looker for the next day. She came to my hotel (FOD) at 5pm. Stayed until around 3pm the next day. I bought her dinner and breakfast and gave her 2000 pesos. She was more than happy!
