    Cabanas all night long?

I'm arriving in Santiago about 7:10 at night and want to spend my first night there. After clearing customs and picking up my car, I figure to grab a bite to eat and go straight to Gomez or Kelvin's.
I've stayed in Aloha Sol before but don't want to spend the bucks (they charge extra for chica)
Anyone had any experience doing an all nighter at one of the cabanas. If so, please advise where and how much?

Well clearly you have been to Santiago before, so you are aware Gomez & Kelvin's are on opposite sides of the city!

    Of your two featured destination:
Gomez is closest to the airport but a decent distance from the nearest Cabana. Your closest Cabanas would be the 4 next to each other; Venus, Helios, BoraBora, or Eclipse (iirc), there are also many others in the area. To avoid getting lost the best way would be to travel back to the highway (AutoP Duarte) along Av. Hispanoamericana. There is a residential street that goes through north to AutoP Duarte but I cannot remember the name and comes out right by the Cabanas on AP Duarte, sorry.

Kelvin's will take longer to get to of course BUT you will be on the right side of the city the next day to continue onto Sosua (I presume that's your final dest.) and not have to worry about city traffic. There are also many Cabanas along the highway not far from Kelvin's such as; Blue Castle, Posiden, Mirage, etc.

As for staying the night well if you just want a clean basic room, Venus or Blue Castle are your best choices. Staying all night is simple and easy to do. The cheapest will be BC, just watch out for the two higher porn channels, they have like 25+ porn channels but the last two are Shemales & Gay channels!

Mirage is a nice place where you can get an outdoor terrace in your Cabana if relaxing is your thing.

Again staying all night is no biggie and usually you get the room until 11-12pm, at ANY Cabana.

As for prices sorry my figures are old but I am sure the prices have risen respectively so I should be right about the cheapest.

Mil gracias for the info. Although I have been there before, I never got to either of the car washes. Guess I'll play it by ear as to which way to go but you answered my main question. I'll grab a chica and hit one of the cabanas you've recommended.

FYI The car wash girls are short time only, almost all have kids and want to get home before 2ish. Also you cannot "salida" Kelvin girls! I never asked at Gomez and rarely went there, actually I only went there when I was in the mood for playing pool or a good concert band.

To get to Gomez get on AutoPista Duarte and head towards Santiago, before you get to the city and before the row of Cabanas (BoraBora, etc.) is a cloverleaf exit/enterence. Head West/South (if you could make a left) and follow Av. Hispanoamericana to Gomez, it will be on your left. Follow the same way back. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT continue following Av HispanoAmericana to the West/South the road is probably still not repaired and if you go past Av Salvador Estralla (sp?) you will be going into some sketchy areas especially at night!

The one good thing about Gomez is Pasions Night Club is nearby so if you strike out you can head there. Pasions is down the street that is across AP Duarte from the Cabanas.

As for Kelvin's let me know if you need directions there.

    Hi,
Not sure if this information is of any use to you, stayed at Mirage in January cost me 900 pesos for 10 hours, room was excellent and food was good and cheap.

Tks for the info. If the car washes are not going to get me what I want, anybody have any recent info about Rancho Tipico? or any alternative recommendations besides Passions?
