Flights between Jamaica and DR

Can you get island hopping flights between Jamaica and DR....I could not find any that did not involve flying back to Miami first...?

Looks like Spirit goes between The DR and Jamaica.

No they don't. All planes must travel thru their home country first.

AirJamaica use to be a great airline to go from one tourist destination to the next tourist destination......
unfortunately those day are mostly gone as they have cut out most the routes......
plus dem being bought by Caribbean Airlines now.....
