Transportation.. Santiago to Puerto Plata/sosua

Going from Santiago to Sosua or Puerto plata I would imagine that Metro goes there. Anyone know for sure and how long it would take.

it usually takes almost 2 hours from Santiago to Los Charamicos (Sosua) even thought the scheduled time is more like 1:40.

you can take a cab to the caribe tours bus station. it should take you about 1.5hrs to get to Sosua.

That's 250 pesos a person.I didn't like the smell in there and the air was freezing.I had only a shirt on ,I could feel my nuts shrivel!!I had a walkman .I hear bitches "do"you up in the back for some change ,but I had my chica with me.Maybe ntime............

santiago to sosua is under 100 pesos...80 or 90 in october each way. taxi to or from the santiago bus depot to the airport is 450 to 500 pesos.

if you search the site there are maps and urls and copies of the schedule.

and then 150 pesos for a taxi from charimicos to the hotels......

true...gotta get to Sosua proper.

i use a moto concho for 30-40 pesos but i guess it depends on what you're carrying.

the bus can be freezing so i usually have a jacket...incase a chica isn't available to keep me warm

How often does the bus run routes to Sosua? I'd hate to have to wait a couples of hours for Bus? How far is the Caribe tours from the Airport?
