I agree that you should indeed venture "off the beaten path" but everyone must visit SOSUA at least once. That is a requirement when living a true monger lifestyle!!Originally Posted by New_World_OrderMy problem is that I do not speak a word of Spanish. I just got back from Santo Domingo last week.
I went to all of the places you can imagine in Santo Domingo. All wanted 5,000 from midnight until 9am. What the Fuck?!?
And if I were to take a girl to the hotel, I owuld have to pay a fee.
And I usually need at least five hours of sleep in a day. So 9 hours minus 5 hours is only 4 hours of fun. 4 hours of fun for 5000 pesos? Fuck no.
So I met some girls at internet cafes. Chat with them and try to get into thier pants. I succeeded only once and she ended up asking me for money, food, clothes, etc.
I am starting to get annoyed with the monger life in Santo Domingo.
Hi there
I went there at around midnight but the manager was charging me 5,000 pesos for the whole night. So I said fuck it.
I told him that I paid less before but he said he does not remember. So I left.
So I met freelancers at the Jaragua Casino, restaurants, or internet cafes.
By the way, how much were you paying for the freelancers, if you don't mind me asking?
I am getting a little annoyed of the B.S. in Santo Domingo. I will either go to Sosua or Costa Rica. Especially after looking at vak's thread.
Take care.
