La Parada, Tabu, and The Girls House

    Hey guys

    La Parada

I went here with Kevy, LM, and WhyNotMe at around 8pm. There were around six chicas who looked very bored. Some of them just sat on a chair doing nothing and some of them were dancing.

The place is very dark and not much is going on. The A/C was very weak.

I do not recommend this place.

Tabu (the one on Independencia Ave)

I went here with LM and WhyNotMe at around 7:30pm. The place has no A/C whatsoever. It was so hot, humid, and dark. The chicas are uglier than my grandmother (the one on my father's side). My grandmother on my mother's side is very pretty and charming.

Anyway, this place is a major shit hole.

The owner of this place has no business mind whatsoever.

    The Girls House

Freddy no longer runs this place.

There were around 30 chicas working when I went here with WhyNotMe and LM at around 7pm.

The A/C was cool and the chicas were dancing and trying to earn our business. I like this active and exciting atmosphere.

I recommend that you guys check this place out.

If there is a chica that you like and the place is charging too much, then just get her cellular phone number and call and meet up with her on a day that she is not working. That way, the two of you can avoid the house fee (middleman).

Re: La Parada, Tabu, and The Girls House

Atually, La Parada was only closed a couple of weeks, then they opened again as a dance bar.

I went in a couple of times, and found older couples dancing merengue, bachatas, etc. Boorrrrrrrrrrrrring

About a month later, a friend of mine went, and told me they had switched back to the whore bar theme, but none of the girls were even worth looking at, so I haven't bothered to go again, even though I drive by a couple times a week..

    Thanks Cheeno..

That place has always been a dive. Yet it remains open. I would usually stop there when I didn't find anything in Lapsus. The first time (about 10-15 years ago), it was so dark an dingy, that I walked in took one look and walked out. I was actually afraid to stay.

Re: La Parada, Tabu, and The Girls House

Ha ha, A dive? Yes, indeed it is. It does have A/C, or at least it did. Maybe it was broke.
Having said that, I have had some pretty crazy times in that place.

The owner is an Italian guy, and a pretty nice guy at that.

He just doesn't have much business sense. He also spends a lot more time in the other Tabu in front of the Hispanola, so this one is kinda neglected.

But, I wouldn't go so far as to say I'd be afraid to be there. It's always worth a step inside to see what's available, and maybe have one beer, no more.

I first stumbled into La Parada back in May of this year and I recognized a Chica at the bar that we'd met at Casa Teresa a year earlier. She was about 30 lb. heavier than I remembered her and looked like shit. Since we'd ordered cervezas upon entering when our eyes adjusted to the darkness we got the check and started drinking faster . Damn! Gorda at the bar was actually one of the best looking putas in the house.

Some bleach blonde crackhead looking puta took a liking to me and I actually had to get the security guy to peel the bitch off my back. I only saw one Chica in there that I would've allowed to pay ME to fuck her. I wouldn't have taken a centivo less than 6,000RD

Re: La Parada, Tabu, and The Girls House

This is what I do not understand about the club owners.

Overall, the club owners have no businessmind whatsoever.

For example, the owner of Tabu. Why isn't he turning on the A/C? Me, LM, and WhyNotMe left within 15 seconds because the place was so hot and humid.

And the chicas were extremely ugly.

Right now, not one single chica-casa in Santo Domingo stands out from the rest of the crowd.

Re: La Parada, Tabu, and The Girls House

Lapsus is pretty consistent I think, just dont fall for any of the crap the chicas pull like asking for food $ like 10 seconds after you meet them or drinks just cause you made eye contact. And the guy that shows you to the table then helps you when you pay to take the chica out, he tries to palm your $ so count your change in front of him. Hes the one that looks exactly like Ajay Naidu, the guy that payes Samir in the movie Office Space, so watch him closely.
They also have a little dance show which is sometimes pretty good, and the AC is always cranking. It has its negatives, but if youre onto them its a pretty reliable place.

It's been my observation that Lapsus has two tiers of working putas. There are the ones who are there every night (last visit they were closed on Sunday ) and there are those who come in for maybe one or two nights between Thursday and Saturday. These (part time?) putas are usually a cut above and have a lot more class, laying in the cut to let YOU find THEM. Of course the hood rats line up to block your view as soon as you are seated and I always tip your buddy so that when I waive these strugglers off he's right there clearing the path.

Most of the Chicas who are regulars at Lapsus have been there too long (IMHO) and are straight up hustlers. If you get to one of the part timers you can find some really sweet punani among them and they are less likely to exhibit fiendish behaviour (stealing, leaving early, eating up all the ho cakes, etc.). Lapsus, like every other puta casa in Sto. Dgo. has it's very own personality. I do recommend the cute little show they put on. Everybody ends up butterball naked.

I AGREE with Cheeno...only one girl was there Sunday night and man was so FUGLY....would take a couple cases of Jack Daniels to do her.

Re: La Parada, Tabu, and The Girls House

Tabu is always hit or miss. . . mostly miss lately. Years ago it was very fun. We called it the groping bar. Girls would come over and do their best "marketing" to get you to pick them. We'd hang out and have a few beers, some mutual groping and then give em a tip and go out for the night.

The other tabu can be hit or miss but better than the one next to lapsus. . . .also it is in front of embajador.

I would really appreciate an address for this joint if anyone knows it. I'll be back down in two weeks and I like punani, too.....the newer to me, the better.

Re: La Parada, Tabu, and The Girls House

I don't have an adress and it has been a while. If you know where megacentro is it is nearby. If heading north on san vincente make a right on caretera mella. Mega centro will be on your left. Head down a bit and on the left hans side you will see a chinese restaurant, make a left and head down that street, on the left hand side will be a mansion most likely with a guard sitting out front. That is the place. Nice set up, girls were cute last I went but didn't take any for a spin so can't comment on service etc.
