On the left side of that window click "Edit Options"
All the way down the bottom "Enable the countdown" click the "yes" radio button.
Give your countdown a name.
Enter the date and time (note that the day is the first field not the month)
then hit the "Save Changes" button
It should work ! !

Still messing with it. I put in a new event and copied the event title to the countdown setup page..........I will see what happens

I just noticed that you guys either don't have a signature or you don't have signatures enabled
try this:
click "User CP" in the upper left (use right click "open in a new window" so you can still read this)
On the left side of that window click "Edit Options"
about half way down you will see a section "Thread Display Options"
check the box that says "Show Signatures"
then hit the "Save Changes" button

The part of Jay's message that I highlighted is very important. My countdown was partially working but I couldn't get the timer to work until I looked closely and saw that the day and month were reversed.
Remember, also that your countdown, like your signature will only show up on your first message in a thread. Any messages that you post after in the same thread will not show your sig, or your countdown.
We surveyed 100 chicas and the top 69 answers are on the board. Here's the question...

OK I think I got it now ! !
You need something . . . ANYTHING . . . as a signature in order for the countdown clock to work. I deleted my signature and checked an old thread and my countdown timer vanished also . . . I put my signature back in and the timer reappeared.
Do This:
click "User CP" in the upper left (use right click "open in a new window" so you can still read this)
On the left side of that window click "Edit Signature"
That will open a window similar to one you post in and you should type "Jayman for King of the World"
then hit the "Save Signature" button
