Fuck You's

In the past few weeks I have corrected a couple of posts of mine and removed some "fuck you's" that I KNOW I didn't place in response to a post....at first I thought it was just a mistake or something inadvertant on my part, but I had to remove a "fuck you" today that I know that I didn't place there....And it was in a thread that was started today.... This could be an IE7 glitch, because sometimes when I go to thank someone, I get taken to a page which states I have no permission to access.....I don't get that on my other laptop which has the Vista OS

Also DT, when I go to my profile and look at Find all LM said Fuck You to! it looks like it's reversed and shows all posts where I've been told Fuck You to.....

FYI...

Any one else have this problem.....???

The second part I think is a typo on my part, the Link should say "Find all LM was told FU" Actually if you check the link for Thanks on the profile page it is backwards too. I will check out reversing it or at the very least changing the text.

As for the other issue, Did you by chance click a ThankYou instead and then a FU showed? Or maybe you quoted the post? Or does it just show mysteriously?

It just shows up mysteriously that's what is bothering me.....I use the Fuck-You's sparingly and usually as a tongue and cheek thing

Jimmy removed you from Registered Users when he made you a SuperMod. Everyone should be a member of Registered Users because when I add addons the permissions are usually NO, and then it saves me time to just turn them on for Reg Users since everyone is a member of the group. Also some addons without settable permissions are only tied in with Registered Users.

I know other people are beta testing Vista for Microsloth but are you maybe running any addons for IE or something? Any chance you could D/L Firefox or something and try to duplicate your issues with another browser?

On this laptop I'm running IE7, with no addon's that I know of...my other laptop I have the Vista OS system, I use that in my truck mobile office, and when I do access ISOC from that I don't seem to have issues.

I sort of suspect an issue with my IE7, but this is the only site I have problems with, I'm active on a few other non-monger sites that use VBulletin and I don't have any noticeable issues with any of them, but this site does exploit many more features of VBulletin than the others.....The Thankyou/Fuck You feature being one...

I'll use my Vista laptop for awhile and see what transpires.....

Every once and awhile when I try to say either "fuck you" or "thank you" I get a message that says something similar to LM or I'll get "bad response or request."
