    Hours/Location of Classico's

Last trip when in Sosua, I tried to catch Classico's on Friday night. Spent awhile walking up and down Pedro Clisante looking for the joint (couldn't find a sign)...no luck. Started just asking someone every block as they would just point "that way". Finally got narrowed down to a bar with a big neon sign that said something other than Classico's and was told it was up the stairs along the side of the bar. Went to go up and was told it didn't open till 10pm...is that true? We were there early...like 7 or 8pm, but wasn't expecting to need to wait 2-3 hours for it to open, especially when they close (I think) at midnight or 1am. Can someone tell me for sure what the hours and location are for Classico's? If it doesn't have a sign, what sign IS outside the joint?

    thanks,

    Rodeo

    Re: Hours/Location of Classico's

This is my first posting on this site. We have 2 groups of 5 guys coming to the DR April 24-28. One group will be in SD, the other in Sosua/PP. The SD group will come up to Sosua Sat. 26th for a night and go back to SD. Where should we be looking for chicas? We range in age from mid 30's to 60. I and 2 others are in the SD group and speak decent Spanish. The other group does this yearly, I have been there 3 times. Last time went to Club 59/Classico's. We rented villas at Casa Linda and had a ball with about 10 Chicas. Always looking for new places to find the ladies. Is that strip the best place to go?

Same location, the staircase leading up into Classicos, but for some reason that I can't quite put my finger on, I like this shot better.
