Here are three pictures I took.

I did not have the time to take the metro (2 night, 3 day trip do suck).

I might visit Japan and Korea this summer. So what I can do is take a picture of the metro in NYC, Boston, Santo Domingo, Seoul, and Tokyo.

Blackout halts Santo Domingo’s Metro for almost 1 hour

    Dominican Today Sep 27 2009 01:29AM

Hundreds of Santo Domingo Metro passengers were left stranded in the different stations, when a blackout halted service for more than one hour, which again caused chaos and forced commuters to face delays of more than 45 minutes.

The Metro employees themselves reported the outage at 7 a.m., but when asked when service was restored, the passengers said the first train hadn’t appeared by 7:39 a.m., despite that regular service starts at 6:30 a.m.

Transport Reform Office (OPRET) assistant director Leonel Carrasco declined comment, and announced a press conference Friday morning. At the beginning of September the Metro was halted for around seven minutes when a general blackout affected the country.
