SDQ to Black Beards (Take Caribe Tours, not Metro)

Just in case this can help anyone else, I'll put this out there.

A while back I was traveling from Santo Domingo and my next stop was Black Beards. I had heard that Metro Tours is a little better than Caribe Tours, so I thought I'd check it out.

It turns out the the Caribe TOurs bus terminal in POP is much closer than the Metro Tours one to the direction of Black Beards, so I lost some time and had a longer cab ride, etc to Costambar.

Both bus services seemed about the same to me.

BTW, a nice, hard working independent massage girl from POP sat with me on the way to the Metro terminal and we watched some dvds together and had a nice conversation. She gave me her card, she looked good, but no reason to go all out my way when the fine punani was everywhere.

Both bus companies go past the end of the road into Costambar. What chance if you gave the driver 100 pesos he would stop and let you off? You would need to pre-arrange this discreetly in Santiago not wait until the bus approached Costambar. It wouldn't work if you had more than a small bag as you would still need a motoconcho to Barba Negra. Or if it was pissing down with rain.

But if it worked it would save time and money.
